Mid 18th Century inlaid oak-cased eight day brass dial longcase clock, Robert Buller, Abington (Abingdon), Oxfordshire, the 12" square brass dial with matted centre, subsidiary seconds and calendar square within chapter ring having inner quarter hour track, Roman hours and Arabic minutes all within mask spandrels, the stepped case with blind fretwork frieze over sunken columns, inlaid long trunk door and stepped base, 224cm high Condition: Dial plate has very light tarnishing otherwise sound, hands display general rusting, movement appears sound but is not tested or guaranteed, crutch is slightly bent, there is approximately half inch of packing beneath seat board, case - one brass finial is moose, small old loss to right hand hood door pillar, plinth base is an old replacement, sold with two weights plus pendulum and winder (pendulum feather is depleted) - **General condition consistent with age
