O gauge. Marklin Der Adler 1835-1935 Centenary Train Set. This 20v electric set was released in 1935 to mark the 100th anniversary of the first commercial steam locomotive to run in Germany, Der Adler. The set includes: 2-2-2 locomotive in green and brown with gold detailing, and figure driver standing at the back and tender, nameplate painted over in black; open centenary coach in yellow with red detail, two wheels detached; covered centenary coach with opening doors in yellow and black with red details; covered centenary coach in yellow and black with red details and seat for brakeman, complete with brakeman figure, two wheels detached. This set also includes 15 passenger figures, with a further nine damaged passenger figures (clean breaks, mostly heads detached and one with legs detached). Wheels to locomotive and coaches are fatigued but model is otherwise in good condition. Set is contained in correct maroon box with white label depicting locomotive, and contains inner packaging, track and piece of paper with German text advising to remove the inner cardboard to remove the locomotive.
