An 18th Century Italian Walnut Folding Chair in the 16th Century Style. The leather back panel branded with an armorial shield and enriched with punchwork embellishments, slung between the heavy square section uprights of the pivoted curved X-frame support. The swept block arms having carved rosette roundels to the ends. The slung seat edged in brass studs and terminating on carved lion paw feet, 37 ins (94 cms) high, 27 ins (68 cms) wide.

The flat plank arms with scroll ends resting on swept palmate supports leading down to the square palmate legs united by a pierced front rail carved with wrythen rosettes. 45½ ins (116 cms) high, 26½ ins (67 cms) wide, 20 ins (51 cms) deep. A Late 17th/Early 18th Century Carved Beech-wood Armchair. The tall rectangular back and upholstered seat covered in faded crimson velvet with fringed edging and an appliquéd armorial crest to the back. The moulded arms with voluted terminals resting on scrolled supports. The swept scroll legs united by a high pierced front rail of undulating foliage, and a turned H-form stretcher below, 48 ins (122 cms) high, 25½ ins (65 cms) wide.

A Fine William & Mary Carved Oak Upholstered Stool. The lavish S-scroll legs enriched with floral chains and acanthus adornments to the voluted knop feet, united by an X-form stretcher. The round padded seat and swab cushion re-covered in terracotta & gold fabric woven with small repeated motifs and edged in tassels. 16½ ins (42 cms) in height (excluding cushion), 16 ins (41 cms) in diameter.

The hump topped back and seat covered in antique needlework tent stitched with an allegorical scene to the back and a lady with basket of fruit on her head flanked by a corn reaper & sewer to seat. The turned legs having bulbous swellings with gadrooned inverted cup detailing, leading down to lobed bun feet and united by a moulded wavy H-form stretcher, 45 ins (115 cms) high, 22 ins (56 cms) in width.

A 17th Century Oak Wainscot Chair Attributed to Gloucestershire. The wavy back panel carved with five flower heads tied in a guilloche quatrefoil emitting cross-hatched leaves into the corners and framed by chip-carving. The top rail decorated with foliated S-scrolls flanked by plain uprights with pyramid finials. The scroll end arms resting on marrow turned posts leading to the planked seat and cannon barrel legs united by a peripheral stretchers.

A Fine Charles II Carved Oak Wainscot Chair. The deep cresting rail edged in scaly S-scrolls; the voluted ends forming the lobed terminals and flanking leaves enriched with punchwork scrolling around a central cartouche inscribed with the initials IM and date 1679. The arcaded back panel carved with a stylized flower between palmate uprights with s-scroll ear pieces protruding each side. The down-swept arms on turned supports leading to a planked seat with chip carved rails above turned legs united by peripheral stretchers.

A Pair of 17th Century Joined Oak Wainscot Chairs. The deep top rails cut into with shapes sweeping around the central carved pod pendants flanked by scratch carved foliage and ball flowers. The back panels enriched with foliate lozenge designs above lunette carved base rails punched with ornamentation. The uprights carved with trailing leaves and having rounded terminals. The arms on ball turned posts leading down to a planked seat on lunette carved rails and ball turned legs united by chip-carved peripheral stretchers.

A Rare 17th Century Inlaid Wainscot Chair of good colour & patination. The crested top rail carved with twinned s -scrolls enriched with punchwork above a winged cherub head and flanked by triangular finials above shaped ear-pieces. The back having a rectangular panel inlaid with the inscription AD 1640 and bordered by a deep chip carved moulding. The central dog-tooth inlaid rail above two intricately carved panels of flowering plants. The down swept arms enhanced by zig-zag punchwork above the plank seat on flattened ball turned legs united by block stretchers.

A 17th Century Lancashire Joined Oak Wainscot Armchair. The top rail blind-fret carved with stylised flowers, rosette whorls & palmate detailing. The back panel divided by an interlaced geometric strap-work knot into four triangles enriched with leaf & bud carving. The downswept arms above short turned supports adjoining the seat with engrailed edges and leading on to meet the ball & fillet turned legs united by run-moulded peripheral stretchers.

A Late 17th/Early 18th Century Joined Oak Backstool. The twin scroll shaped top rail carved with a flowering plant issuing scrolling leaves surrounding large flower-heads, flanked by pyramid finial uprights. The back panel carved with two dragons flanking a fruiting plant; the foliate scrolls circling flower-heads with bifurcated palmettes. The slightly recessed plank seat with moulded rails above column turned legs joined by peripheral block stretchers.
