A late 18th/early 19th century high-back Windsor chair, with Christmas tree splat, turned and straight supports, one-piece seat, triple ringed turned forelegs and H-frame stretcher. CONDITION REPORT Two of the straight side supports have been replaced with iron pins, this was found in a Lancashire barn which reflects its condition, the joints are loose and there are some old splits in the wood, in our opinion this should not be used before your own inspection.
A good rustic 18th century pine lambing chair, a barn find in Lancashire, having a recessed panel back and shaped top supported with winged sides, outswept enclosed arms, planked seat, over single drawer, height 117cm. CONDITION REPORT This was found in a Lancashire barn and has many honest repairs over the years, signs of old paint, deterioration of the wood especially to the arms, it is predominately pine but there may be other woods part of its construction, there is a split in the back panel. The honest rustic appearance adds to its character.
A 17th century carved oak Wainscot armchair, the shaped and carved top rail with a carved panel of 1671 above a carved back panel of flowing floral patterns, having a panel seat with scrolled elbow supports, raised on turned block legs united by stretchers. CONDITION REPORT This was found in a Lancashire barn, it is sturdy but has wear and deterioration expected with age there may be slight areas of repair and possible alteration over the years.Height 107cm, width 55cm, depth 55cm.
