A Victorian mahogany convalescent/invalid metamorphic armchair, attributed to John Ward, the adjustable wing back with brass handle and turned ivory knop, with lockable hinged arms, on turned legs and base with pull-out ratcheted foot rest, on four pierced brass wheels, height 105cm. CITES number KSKVMSDPAdditional InformationThe upholstery is faded and worn. The wing back will release back but only with some encouragement, but will wind forward using the handle provided. the arms easily open on the side and the base opens and pulls out. The frame throughout with knocks, scuffs, wear and some sun fading. The frame underside the seat is stamped 2272. There is a section of wood under the seat beneath the back rest which is not original. Ivory handle with wear and scratches, a little tired but overall fair.

The variety of colours on the white slip is remarkable.

Meccano - A Meccano No 2 Constructor Car in red with blue mudguards and seat. The head lamps, windscreen and original driver are all still in place, the tyres are hard and cracked and have had some small glue repairs to keep them together. The original Meccano logo is still on the tail and the motor is working but there is no key with the car. It appears in Good condition overall. (This does not constitute a guarantee)
