A Victorian elm seat fruitwood and yew Captain's chair, having two-piece yew toprail, dish seat, on turned supports united by H stretcher Condition Report / Extra Information Structurally good and strong. Some age wear, stains and scuffs etc. Legs and top-rail are yew, seat is elm, the rest is fruitwood or beech.
Olympic Games Berlin 1936. Ticket for Gouverment - "Ehrenkarte XI.Olympiade Berlin 1936" Compementary ticket for government box, row no. 06, seat no. 05. at the Olympic Stadium, government boxes at any other Olympic event. This ticket enabled ist holder to visit all events at the Olympic Games. With original black leather case which had the Olympic rings embossed. This is ticket no. 159 out of 220 tickets that were issued. 15x19 cm. Extremely rare. Official ticket for members of the government and superior guests of state (ie. Presidents or ministers). Only 220 copies of this ticket were issued, thus it is the rarest ticket of the Olympic Games. The folder consists of high quality black nappa leather. The official report mentionse three different leather cases (green, brown and red) which were issued for these complimentary tickets. There is no mentioning of the black one for government boxes. Ticket condition A-, leather case with small traces of usage. This object will be issued with a certificate of authenticity. Please read more under "original tickets".

Some deterioration to the varnish finish to the seat. Do not appear to be any woodworm holes. Size approx 91cm high, sides approx 59cm wide, and width across front approx 59cm.
