A set of four 17th century style carved oak side chairs, of Derbyshire pattern, with scroll carved splats between scroll ended split bobbin embellished uprights, panel seats on block and bobbin turned legs joined by a baluster turned front stretcher and rectangular section side stretchers, seat height 44cm. CONDITION REPORT The table top and the sideboard both have areas of fading, staining , scratching etc all commensurate with age, one notable stain to the back edge of the sideboard top, the chairs have minor nicks, scuffs and scrapes to the legs etc
Fritz Hansen; a set of eight retro Danish upholstered dining chairs with chrome bases and a similar white oval fixed top dining table, 70 x 180 x 120cm (9). CONDITION REPORT The table has signs of use throughout most notably some chipping to the white finish to the edges and some light surface scratching and minor staining to the centre of the table top. The vendor purchased the table at the same time and same place as the set of Fritz Hansen chairs although the table bears no manufacturers identification The chairs have no sign of repair or restoration , any wear to the chrome is age related and does not detract. The black ends to chrome are present, no holes, tears to the purple upholstery, some wear to the top of backrest and front of seat pad, sturdy base, no damage to bases
H K Furniture Ltd; a Howard Keith designed mid-century retro tan leather swivel lounge chair raised on chrome four-legged base. CONDITION REPORT The arms have some wear, mostly at the front edge. The seat most notable to the front corners has excessive wear resulting in the colour of the leather being worn away. Further general wear and tear throughout.
19th Century elm and beech spindle back Windsor chair having moulded seat on ring turned legs. (B.P. 21% + VAT) Poor condition overall. A few of the spindles are broken, stretcher underneath chair is loose and detached. Part of the arm is detached. Splits, wear and tear commensurate with age. In need of restoration.

Very small scratch on seat, overall very good condition. Small sofa - the odd tiny scuff, overall in good condition. Both need cleaning in all the button holes as expected.

A HEPPLEWHITE REVIVAL MAHOGANY FRAMED SQUARE BACK SOFAOn turned supports,198cm wide; 84cm highCondition report: A good, sturdy frame in overall good functional condition. Originally caned, with evidence to caning to the seat rails. Some areas of old worm evident to the seat rails, as to be expected. Some veneer cracks as to be expected with some reglued down and a few patch repairs to the back seat rail at the reverse. The arms have also been resecured with plug marks badly concealed but these would be easily disguised. Old screw holes and screw heads visible along the back rails of the seat back. The back left leg with a spliced repair or path to the side of the leg. Otherwise, light scuffs, scratches, some dents and minor veneer cracks commensurate with use and age.

W.HUXLEY; A SET OF TEN WILLIAM IV MAHOGANY DINING CHAIRSWith carved waist rail on reeded supports, 44cm wide; 87cm high (10)Condition report: Each chair is stamped to the back rail with the maker’s name. One has the remains of a label for Crews & Sons, Exmouth. Old worm to some of the rails, but of little impact. Some traces of glue where joints have been strengthened. Overall the joints are very sturdy, particularly between the back and seat. Repolished at some point. Wear, scuffs and scratches and some losses to the feet, edges and general areas of exposure. Reupholstered at some point. In good, functional order.

Previous old spliced repair to the foot of this leg and small chipped loss. This leg is also branded with the number 498 with red painted number below, and opposing leg with an ivorine disc numbered 587. General scuffs and knocks Loose fabric in relative good condition, upholstered covers below look more faded, worn and tired. No obvious signs of worm. The seat rails have not been inspected as they are concealed by a dust sheet.
