A Victorian 19th century upholstered Prie Dieu nursing prayer chair. Raised on mahogany turned legs with brass cap castors having overstuffed seat and back rest. Together with a matching upholstered ladies bedroom armchair in mahogany raised on cabriole legs with castors and show wood frame. Measures: 105cm high x 50cm wide x 56cm depth.
An early 19th Century highly carved Anglo Indian or possibly Burmese hall seat, all extremely profusely carved with pierced decoration and figural finial's, with central lift up seat, approximately 58" wide and 52" high Hall seat is good condition for its age, no major damage or repair to the panels, or basic structure.There is a loss of the carved peacock to the centre back panel of the seat, and the head from the peacock is missing from the one above on the top panel, similarly there are losses of arms to the figures at either end.There are minor losses to the top of the top back panel. From the seat area there are one or two pieces of missing carving located at the back of the hinged area.On the lower frieze there are one or two losses from the faces of the carved figures.But no major damage or repairs visible.
A 19th century French gilt framed three piece upholstered parlour suite, comprising a settee and two chairs, all with beaded and fluted borders to backs before seats and backs covered in a cream and material with floral and other motifs, the settee with upholstered arms on wrythen supports, all raised on fluted tapering legs, the settee measuring 100 cm high, 120 cm wide, 53 cm deep, seat height 50 cm, the chairs measuring 92 cm high, 48 cm wide, height height 48 cm.
