A set of eight Art Deco style birds eye maple veneered dining chairs, cloud back style, with solid backs and drop in seats, on tapered legs, 97cm H (8) CONDITION REPORT: Seven of the chairs have cracks to the reverse of the back of the chairs. Two chairs with loose front legs - some attention will be needed here. General wear to edges etc on all chairs. but all with an even colour throughout. Later seat inserts. Overall fair. Some attention will be required.

General knocks, bumps, bruises etc throughout. Upholstery is worn in places, especially along the edges. In need of a clean, TLC. A George III French Hepplewhite design mahogany framed open armchair with oval upholstered back, the carved and swept mahogany arms over a serpentine fronted upholstered seat, raised on turned and fluted legs to peg feet CONDITION REPORTS There has been a repair to the left hand arm as you look at it and some filling in to the back support on the same side. There has been a repair to the right hand leg where it joins the seat. Other small repairs throughout as well as chips, knocks, scuffs and bumps to the woodwork. The upholstery is worn in places as well as faded and the rick-rack is coming off. Evidence of old woodworm mainly to the back underneath. A George III mahogany framed Gainsborough type open arm chair with serpentine top rail, swept and reeded arms, raised on cabriole legs to front and back CONDITION REPORTS Approx 104 cm high x approx 69 cm wide x approx 78 cm deep. Numerous surface scratches to the legs and arms. Small chips to the wood, dents and gouges in areas both on the arms and the legs. Some splitting to the padded foot on the front left leg. Upholstery is faded and worn in areas, mainly seat back and arms. Some fading and discoouration to the wood. Some areas of loss, general wear and tear commensurate with age and use - see images for details
A pair of 19th Century Sheraton Revival painted satinwood and caned two seat settees CONDITION REPORTS Both cane seats have numerous surface scratches, gouges, small nicks to the wood and some splitting. The painted floral decoration has signs of cracking and crazing and there are some areas of loss to the paint on both painted decorations. One of the benches has had a repair, a piece of wood on the left arm has been replaced. Fading and dscolouration and staining on the wicker on both seats. Some areas of loss to the wicker on the backs of the benches as well. Numerous scuffs, accretions, build-up of dirt in areas and fading. some areas of bleaching. General wear and tear commensurate with age and use - see images for details. Seat height on both benches 43 cm approx. Total height 92 cm high approx x 101.5 cm approx wide x 53 cm deep
An 18th Century walnut hall chair, the plain back above swept open arms on ringed and turned supports to the upholstered seat, over a ringed and turned front rail on ringed and turned front legs united by an H stretcher, approx 115 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Surface scratches, some gouges to the wood, dents, scuffs to the wooden frame and areas of loss mainly to the arms and the feet but also to the turned crossbar. A section of that is missing. Fading, discolouration. There is evidence of woodworm to the back legs and also soem ares of the front legs. The carved ball feet on the front legs have sections missing. General wear and tear commensurarte with age and use - see images for details
A set of four 19th Century beech and elm Provincial bar back kitchen chairs with shaped seats on turned and rigned legs united by H stretchers, bear makers stamp to rear of seat "A. F" CONDITION REPORTS One chair has damage to the back left hand corner, another appears to have a replacement stretcher or at least repositioned. Three backs are loose and there are signs of old worm throughout on all chairs mainly on the seat, otherwise wear and tear, surface scratches etc all conducive with age and use. Does not appear to have had any dramatic loss in height although some backlegs are worn - see images for more details

There is also evidence of old woodworm mainly to the front of the seat. Evidence of what appear to be numerous repairs, mainly to the back of the seat, the arm rests and to areas of the legs. Some splits in the wood, mainly based around the legs and stretcher. Accretions and stains, scratches and scuffs all over. General wear and tear commensurate with age and use - see images for details. The top head rest is slightly loose also. Hieght of the seat is 46 cm approx
Charles Eames (American 1907-1978) for Vitra swivel chair with aluminium base and frame and ribbed leather seat CONDITION REPORTS Numerous scratches and scuffs and wear to the leather seat. Accretions and build-up of dirt to the leather. What appears to be white paint flecks on the leather. The aluminium frame shows signs of tarnish and areas of pitting. Accretions and areas of dirt. General wear and tear commensurate with age and use - see images for details. Vitra chair - the leather has scratches and wear to the corners predominantly. Is dirty and dusty. The metal work itself has pitting and patination and surface scratches. Some corroding to the chrome evident to the underside supports. Otherwise general wear and tear conducive with age and use, appears to have been in a house with animals - see images for more details
A pair of modern aquamarine upholstered scroll arm three seat sofas on turned front legs to brass caps and castors, 194 cm wide max and matching footstool CONDITION REPORTS Both sofas have fading, discolouration in areas, wear to the cloth, staining on both the seats, the arms and on one of the sofas as large area of staining on the back of the sofa. The arm covers are all faded and stained. General wear and tear commensurate with age and use - see images for details. Scuffs to the upholstery on both sofas. All have wear/staining to the arms and backs, one more so than the other. HEAVILY CARVED AND STAINED HALL CHAIR, pierced back with mask pediment, female figures and central cartouche, carved and moulded serpentine solid seat on flat carved and moulded front support with scrolled feet and flat back support. 137cm high. (B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Basically sound, some minor movement to the back.
