A mid-20th century Colonial tea planters chair with hardwood hinged arms and caned seat, 84cm, high, 72cm, 120cm deep Condition Report: the caning ( more flattened straw like work but much stronger than straw) is in very good order with no visible faults, there are no breaks or repairs to the wood work, the wood is a non-native colonial wood which I do not recognise. I understand there is no real provenance as the chair was bought from a shop in Edinburgh but no further information was given

Condition Report: do note that it it 19 th C in the Geo II mannerthe only fault ( as it is very solid etc.) is that it is cracked on the left arm ( as you sit in it ) but it has been dowellled some time ago.
