EARLY 20TH CENTURY WELSH OAK EISTEDDFOD CHAIR 'Gwyl Dewi, Llanelli, 1927', having moulded and carved decoration including mask lion heads and foliage with shaped and carved open arms, moulded seat, standing on turned supports. 142cm high approx. (B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Noticeable probably shrinkage split horizontally on the seat. Heavy stains and water marks evident also on the seat. Slightly faded in places but structurally sound. In useable condition with no obvious woodworm.

VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Three splits to the seat, possibly shrinkage splits. Also a deep hole on one of the panels. Otherwise structurally sound with a good patina. Some minor cracks to both the splats.
