The first volume contains details of business meetings relating to orders for vessels in Seville and Cadiz; with other notes on sightseeing etc. Sold with a volume of newspaper cuttings about Andrew Leslie, who was described in his obituary in the Newcastle Daily Leader on 29th January 1894 as "one of the makers of the Tyne. He was one of the pioneers of iron shipbuilding and of industry on this river . . ."(3). See also lot 1192.
