This was, however, the picture that really got the laughs. A pair of Japanese Meiji period Imari vases with all over foliate decoration and panels of blossoming trees CONDITION REPORTS 44cm height approx. The first vase has substantial breakages and repairs to the flared rim and neck, numerous scratches and scuffs, areas of wear to the decoration and crazing. There is also a small chip towards the base. The second vase has substantial damage throughout with old repairs. The vase appears to have been in pieces at some stage before being repaired. Ian Fleming's Thunderball starring James Bond 007 Pan paperback book, 14th printing (1965) complete with Domino's Letter. Pan publications published a film tie showing scenes of the film on the cover but as an addition the book came with a printed letter from Domino - the principal female character - to her first lover, the sailor on the box of Players cigarettes. Rare to have original letter included as these were usually lost.
