JOHN HANSON WALKER (BRITISH 1844-1933) THE RED CAP Oil on canvas, signed, 61 x 51cm (24 x 20") Inscribed '22 Kensington Park' on label verso Condition Report: On close inspection stretcher bar lines are noticeable on the left, along the top and on the right and there are two patches verso corresponding to retouching work, one located at middle within the top right hand quarter section and the other at top left within the bottom right quarter section. The canvas is raised in a small area over the first section of the signature resulting in small cracks in the pigment. Generally there is very fine cracking in the pigment over much of the canvas surface.
