Uncommon set. CONDITION REPORT: Some markings to bindings with slight warping but remaining very sound. Some discolouration to initial pages of both volumes otherwise very clean and tight. Generally well preserved set for such large volumes. The biggest issue is probably the marginal discolouration of the first 50 - 60 pages of the volumes.

The NT tp is present and dated 1581.The first 20 pages of Genesis are darkened and show some marginal wear with fractional loss but in general the text is unaffected. Most of the text block is relatively clean and bright. There are very occasional small worm holes. The text block has been cropped but this has resulted only in slight and sporadic loss of the text, usually at the head of the page. Please see additional images.

The first is a 6x4 sepia photo, the second is an autograph album page and the third is a typed hand signed letter, dated 1936. He went on to become an influential DJ on the BBC Light Programme, influencing Kenny Everett and Noel Edmonds with his use of pre-recorded snippets and surreal comedy clips. Good condition for age.
