Extremely scarce 2nd UK pressing of the legendary 1966 LP, this copy released on the '1 box' Columbia/EMI labels (mono SX 6064). The record is in fantastic Ex+ or 'NM' condition with only a couple of very faint and wispy paper marks to the playing surfaces. Super clean labels. Matrix/mother stampers: XAX 3133-1U 1 A & XAX 3134-1U 1 R. With original company inner. The sleeve (the same 'Lansdowne Series' flipback design identical to the first pressing) is in top Ex+ or 'NM' condition - a really great example, the front in exceptional condition, there is a little discolouration to the bottom right corner section of the flipback.

London Colt pocket revolvers were produced from 1853 to 1857. The total production was 11,000 and this example numbered 149 must date from the first year of production.

A Belleek (First Period) satirical chamberpot: of typical form the exterior with moulded decoration, the interior transfer decorated with a portrait of William Ewart Gladstone, black backstamp and patent registration lozenge, 14cm diameter, circa 1877 - 90.*Note Gladstone during his first three terms as Prime Minister (1868-74, 1880-85 and 1886) attempted in the wake of the Potato Famine to pacify Ireland, protect farmers from abuse by landlords and eventually to champion Home Rule. Unfortunately whilst well meant the result was a split in the Liberal Party, an increase in sectarian violence and ultimately the split between north and south that continues today.

In the mid 1880s Thomas William Twyford received an enquiry from a French architect that caused him to invent the first one-piece free standing pottery 'wash out' water closet with hinged seat.

Of Ramsay MacDonald Political Interest, a 'Chancellor of the Exchequer' ivory and steel seal: the matrix with the Royal Arms within the Garter with draped surround and crown crest, 7cm, in fitted leather case with crowned R.M. monogram.* Provenance Bearnes, Torquay, where it is thought a member the family had a home.* Note The Rt.Hon.Ramsay MacDonald FRS [1866-1937], along with Kier Hardy and Arthur Henderson were the three principal founders of the Labour Party and MacDonald was the first Labour Party politician to become Prime Minister of the United Kingdom leading minority governments for nine months in 1924 and from 1929-31. From 1931-35 he lead a National Government dominated by Conservatives and was later denounced and expelled from the party he helped to found.
