Princess Diana Handwritten And Signed Letter On Monogrammed Kensington Palace Notepaper. Dated 7th December 1992, featuring the 'D' Kensington Palace monogramme to top centre. Written to member of staff George Smith on the death of his mother. The note reads "Dear George, I was so sorry to hear about your mother and wanted you to know how much I feel for you at this unhappy time. Words are such inadequate things to express at times like this - However you are very much in my thoughts. Yours sincereley, Diana. Handwritten in black ink. Also included are two signed, handwritten photocopied thankyou notes to household and staff. The first dated December 19th 1989, the second dated December 20th 1990. Each letter thanks staff and household for Christmas gifts. These letters are photocopied on official Kensington Palace notepaper to be distributed to the staff and household.
