David Bellamy. A pair of 20th Century Watercolour paintings of landscapes and seascapes. The first is entitled Misty Woodland and depicts an opening in a forest. The second is entitled Hazy Light and depicts shoreline in windy weather and a cliff face behind the scene. Both are mounted and signed. Measures 33 cm x 40 cm.

During a career spanning more than 50 years, he was the first British craftsman to hold four Royal Warrants simultaneously. Although most notable for his designs in silver, Benney also created jewellery, clocks, lamps, and even prams. He is particularly notable for his work in enamelling. His work can be seen in many collections worldwide, including those of the Victoria & Albert Museum and The Goldsmiths' Company. In 1993, together with his son Simon, now also an accomplished goldsmith, Benny opened a shop in Knightsbridge, London and two years later was awarded a CBE. AGED 68./N. SHARPE. An opal and diamond crescent brooch, circa 1890Set with a graduation of oval opal cabochons, accented by old brilliant, single and rose-cut diamonds, mounted in gold, accompanied by an en tremblant hair slide, length 6.1cm, fitted case by P. Orr & Sons of MadrasFootnotes:The first showroom of P. Orr & Sons was opened at Anna Salai in 1879 which is today a heritage building and still in operation. The building was commissioned by Scottish watchmaker Peter Orr, and designed by Robert Chisholm, consulting architect to the Government of Madras. It was inaugurated by the Duke and Duchess of York, who later became George V and Queen Mary. The store initially sold diamonds, equipment, guns, silver, and later mechanical watches and clocks. P. Orr were the first to sell a Rolex watch in India.
