Terence Mountain signed 10x8 colour photograph pictured during his role in On Her Majesty's Secret Service. Mountain played Raphael in the 1969 007 spy film. His first brush with James Bond was opposite George Lazenby, as Ian Fleming's 007, playing one of the henchmen who attacks Bond in the pre-title sequence and then later in the film when the action has moved to Switzerland. Although unaccredited he also appears opposite Sean Connery, in his sixth Bond Diamonds Are Forever film, as one of Ernst Stavro Blofeld's guards who tries to kill James Bond. Good condition. [ Victoria Cross ] A deactivated Imperial German Kaiserliche Marine U Boat flare pistol by Stantien & Becker of Lubeck, dated 1915, serial number 1280, the barrel stamped Congreve, together with a signed photograph of William La Touche Congreve, VC, DSO, MC (1891 - 1916) and a biography. [This pistol was the property of Major "Billy" La Touche Congreve, Rifle Brigade, believed to have been a trophy of his brother, Sub Lieutenant, later Commander Sir Geoffrey Congreve DSO, Royal Navy, and gifted to his brother. An accompanying record of provenance states "This Very pistol was used in the First World War as part of the personal kit of Major William La Touche Congreve VC. As Brigade-major to the 76th Brigade Major Congreve used this Very pistol on many occasions to illuminate the battlefields of France to locate the enemy movements. When he was killed by a sniper's bullet on the 20th July 1916, the Very pistol was handed to his father, general Sir Walter Norris Congreve VC, commanding XIII Corps. The General, who kept it in memory of his gallant son, brought the pistol home after the war. It was later given to the vendor by Major Christopher Congreve, youngest son of General Congreve". The lot includes a letter of provenance from the latter.]

[Amendment: this is now considered to be a father and son group.] An exceptional Royal Navy long service medal group, spanning the reigns of Queen Victoria through to Queen Elizabeth II, comprising a 1914-15 Star, British War and Victory medals, Royal Navy Long Service and Good Conduct Medal with clasp, 1939-45 War and Defence medals, and the British Empire Medal, those of Edwin Charles Guy who volunteered for service in 1883, served during both World Wars and whilst recruiting for the Royal Navy, was awarded the British Empire Medal during the present Queen's coronation year, 1953, he served as a cook during the first years of his service, is rated a Boy 1st class on his 1914-15 Star, Able Bodied Seaman on the British War and Victory medals, and Petty Officer ( HMS Victory ) on the long service medal, the group includes service and medal related documents, two extensive photograph albums depicting service between the Wars, portrait and group photographs, a silver cigarette case engraved "Presented to CPO Guy in appreciation of service as President of CPOs' Mess, HMS Excellent, 1937-38, and a Master of the Watch telescope by Ross and engraved "Awarded to E C Guy, Advanced Class, Royal Hospital School, Greenwich, July, 1912
