GLADSTONE, WE; 'Gleanings of Past Years 1843-78', seven volumes, the first and seventh with dedications from Catherine and William Gladstone respectively and both dated 1888, John Murray, London 1879, in marbled paper boards with gilt tooled green spines. CONDITION REPORT: General wear throughout, mottling to boards particularly to edges, corners and spines, some losses to paper marbling and calf finish, some foxing.
SMITH, A; 'An Inquiry into the Nature and Causes of the Wealth of Nations', three volumes, printed for Mundell, Doig and Stevenson, Edinburgh 1809, in later marbled boards. CONDITION REPORT: All boards worn, discoloured and stained; spine of third volume replaced with unrelated piece from another book and front board loose, spines of other two with significant losses, mottling to edges and corners, heavy foxing and staining to board interiors and first/last pages, majority of pages with foxing, some fading to text and some pages with double impressions, wear and discolouration to page edges.

A collection of British and international predominantly 20th century mixed denomination coinage both loose and in albums, rolls of pennies, first decimal coin sets, Jersey coin sets from 1981 and 1983, Canada 1982 set etc, also a cased United States Army load adjustor. CONDITION REPORT: All coins appear circulated and in various states of wear, please judge condition/grade for yourself, viewing recommended.
PORKER; a hallmarked silver pair cased pocket watch, the circular dial set with Roman numerals, diameter 4.5cm, the fusee movement signed Porker Albany London and no.122, and another pocket watch in silver plated case with pierced movement signed Stan Clarke London (both af) (2). CONDITION REPORT: Both with condition issues throughout, the first with large chip to the dial, further hairlines, denting to the case throughout, the pair case section is attached by a hinge to the outer section so cannot be removed from the outer casing, outer case heavily dented, the second watch with hairline to dial, the movement and/or dial possible later married to the case, case has lost a lot of the plating and is dented, general surface scratches/wear, discolouration to both watches throughout, neither have been tested so cannot guarantee working order, the case interior of the second watch bears spurious marks.
Two gold plated open face crown wind pocket watches with dials signed for Limit and Thomas Russell & Son, a silver plated example signed S Woog and two silver cased fob watches (some af) (5). CONDITION REPORT: Watches haven't been tested so no guarantee of working order for any of them, although movement on the Thomas Russell example feels extremely loose so would definitely need attention, issues with the dials of the first three watches, hairlines and/missing hands, discolouration etc, general wear to cases throughout with rubbing to plating where applicable, scratches, discolouration, gouges etc, all will need a clean and attention to greater or lesser extent, please judge for yourself, viewing recommended.
