Originally introduced at the 1973 Paris Salon under the name Dino 308 GT4, the name "Dino" was retained until the end of 1976 when it was changed to Ferrari due to popular demand. During the construction period of the model, there was only one major European market model visual change, and this was in the shape of the radiator grille, and location of driving lamps. These are generally unofficially referred to as Series 1, and Series 2 models, with Series 1 cars having a narrower deeper rectangular grille, with the driving lights outboard of it, whilst Series 2 cars had a full width grille with the driving lights behind it at the extremities. This was the first Ferrari to be fitted with a 8 cylinder engine as a standard. The robust, high-revving engine was used in various other Ferrari’s for many years afterwards. This original Swiss delivered Ferrari 308 GT4 was sold new in 1978, a few years later the car moved to a garage-owner and Ferrari-enthusiast in Central Switzerland where it was lovingly cared for and regularly driven by its owner until the summer of 2024 with only 75,526 kilometers covered in total. The vehicle comes with a complete set of maintenance booklets and invoices, providing a well-documented history. Technical Condition: This Ferrari is equipped with its original 255 HP V8 engine, which features four twin Weber carburettors, allowing the car to accelerate to 100 km/h in just over 6 seconds. The engine is in good condition, running smoothly and sounding excellent, with matching numbers that confirm its originality. The transmission shifts smoothly, contributing to a seamless and enjoyable drive. The car has no signs of accidents or rust, and the undercarriage is in good condition. The original exhaust is intact and well-preserved, enhancing the car's authenticity and performance. The car includes a spare wheel but does not come with the original toolkit or jack. Visual Condition: The exterior paint, although an older repaint, is in nice condition and retains the car's original color. The body is rust-free with no evidence of accidents, welding, or repairs, showcasing the vehicle's excellent preservation. The interior is original, with a beautiful patina that reflects its age and care. The original carpet is also in good condition, maintaining the vintage appeal of the car's interior. The original windows are intact, adding to the overall authenticity of the vehicle. The only modification to the vehicle is the replacement of the original wheels with typical 1980s Gotti wheels, which enhance its sporty look. This 1978 Ferrari 308 GT4 Series 2 is a highly desirable classic with only 1,446 Series 2 models ever produced. This is a very sporty car that unlike other Ferrari models offers more space for the passenger seats making it a very comfortable drive as well. Location: Switzerland . This exceptionally beautiful Citroen Model A 'Torpedo' from the Wil van de Camp collection was purchased by the current owner in 1972, in deplorable and incomplete condition. The radiator was very bad, and the original wheels were not there at the time. Over the years, the missing parts have been obtained in France. The restoration of this car has been done at long intervals. In 2016, the owner completed the restoration with the help of his wife and some car friends. The results are impressive. The result and condition of the car was so good that in 2019 they were asked to loan this car to the Autoworld museum in Brussels for the exhibition "100 years of Citroen". This was the first model produced by Citroen, 99 years old at the time, making it the oldest at this extensive exhibition. During the opening of the exhibition, photos were taken of André Citroen's grandsons, Henri-Jacques and Philippe, next to this beautiful model A. In the same year, this car was allowed to appear in the Dutch television series Vliegende Hollanders. Registration number: DZ-22-65. Mileage does not apply, there is no odometer in car. Technical data: chassis number 4360, cylinder capacity 1327 cc, bore x stroke 65 x 100, power 18 hp. In late 1960’s, two car experts, Virgil M. Exner and James D. O’Donnell started Stutz Motor Car. A mix of US parts and Italian handwork. Stutz has been producing luxury automobiles since 1968 for the wealthy and the famous customers such as Elvis Presley, Muhammed Ali, Frank Sinatra and many others. About 120 Bearcat convertibles were planned to be built at the Stutz Motor Car Turin Italy but unfortunately only 13 were ever built in total. The first two were sold to the Sultan of Brunei and his brother. This 1988 Stutz Bearcat II was imported by a German gentleman directly from the last "official" Stutz dealer "Sunshine State Convertible Heaven" located at Pompano Beach Florida in 1992. The car only had 1303 miles, and it appears that the car was never titled in the US and sold as a new car to Germany. The German buyer kept the car for many years and mostly used it just as a display piece in his collection. About 12 years ago it was purchased by the current owner who also mostly used the car just for display. The car comes with the invoice from the Stutz dealer, import and shipping documents from 1992, but there are no licensing or registration documents as it was actually never officially registered in Europe. The Bearcat II is powered by a 5.7 liter 220hp V8 engine from General Motors for easy servicing paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. It's one of the first production cars that had its body made from "Diamond Fiber", known as carbon fiber nowadays. The car is finished in pearl white with a red leather interior. The instruments, switches and interior screws are plated with 24 karat gold. The car comes with a set of leather luggage matching the Italian leather upholstery. The carpet is made from New Zealand sheep wool. Technical condition: The Bearcat II has been maintained very well, the overall condition of the car and the thread on the still original tires dated with 1987 codes are the proof of the just only 2537 miles the car has driven in its life. It drives very well, the engine runs great, the gearbox changes gears smoothly, brakes are working fine and everything else functions as expected, the radio has not been tested. The engine bay looks dry, is a bit dusty but overall very nice. The car is free from corrosion and there are no visible oil leaks. No signs of accidents. Visual condition: The paint looks very nice and shiny, the chrome looks in very good shape, the interior looks completely original with minimal wear and the wonderful carpets are also in a very good condition. The trunk is in perfect condition and looks like new. A wonderful, exceedingly rare piece of history with ultra-low mileage for a 36 year old car. Many celebrities owned a Stutz - Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Mohammed Ali and others. Location: The Netherlands. Video link: youtu.be/UdKjNdXxP60

The BMW 850i comes with original windows and rims, as well as a complete toolkit, jack, and spare wheel. Documentation is complete, including maintenance booklets and invoices. Technical Condition: Powered by its original V12 engine producing 300 HP and paired with a 5-speed automatic transmission, the car runs and drives very well. The engine, exhaust, and underbody are all in good condition with no visible oil leaks. All mechanical and electrical components, including heating, air conditioning, and windows, are fully functional, though some pixels on the board computer do not work, a common issue in BMWs of this era. Visual Condition: The car's paint is in very good condition with partly original paint. The bodywork, gaps, and fittings are flawless with no traces of accidents or rust. The interior, featuring grey leather and velour, is original and very nice, maintaining a clean and classic appearance. Location: Switzerland . Video link: youtu.be/bsnttJW_3dw

Technical Condition: This particular Renault R5 Alpine is powered by a modified Group 2 engine, delivering 108 HP from its 4-cylinder configuration paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. The car was completely disassembled and rebuilt by a Renault specialist from France, ensuring it remains in excellent mechanical condition. The vehicle’s cylinder head, along with the carburettor, intake, and exhaust systems, would need to be returned to their original specifications to comply with Swiss registration requirements. Visual Condition: The exterior metallic silver paint presents well, maintaining a sleek and sporty appearance. The interior features black leather seats and velour carpets, providing a comfortable and classic look that complements the car’s sporty nature. Despite the lack of a radio, the original Alpine instrumentation remains intact, enhancing the vehicle's authenticity and appeal. The Mercedes-Benz W 187 was produced from 1951 to 1955, available as sedan, coupé and cabriolet. All 220’s used the newly developed M180 six-cylinder 2195cc engine producing 80 hp. In contrast with the rather old fashioned look of the car’s body, the new engines attracted much attention in the motoring press, this being the first new engine presented by Mercedes-Benz in more than 10 years. The manufacturer claimed a top speed of 140 km/h for the sedans. With a recent vehicle inspection on June 9, 2020 and 450 kilometers driven since the last dyno tests, where the chassis and brakes performed excellently, this Mercedes-Benz 220 remains a fine example of meticulous care and attention to detail. Comes with many original books, manuals and documents. Technical Condition: The car drives very well and the gearbox changes gears smoothly. The mechanical components of the Mercedes-Benz 220 have been consistently maintained by the previous owner throughout their period of ownership. Regular repairs and upkeep have preserved the vehicle's technical reliability. While the cooling and heating systems have shown signs of wear due to infrequent use and may require an overhaul, other aspects such as the chassis and brakes are in excellent condition, needing only a system flush and renewal of the hydraulic fluid. Visual Condition: This vehicle features a beautifully maintained black nitro paintwork and although it exhibits some signs of age, such as fine hairline cracks, and two stress cracks, these details reflect the car’s history and life. The interior has been completely refreshed with new upholstery and beautiful beige leather seats, while the door panels have been reproduced in black leather. The headliner has also been replaced with the original fleece material, ensuring the car maintains its classic aesthetic. An interesting feature of this 220 is its original tube radio, for which the original warranty certificate is still available, adding a unique historical detail to the car. This 1952 Mercedes-Benz 220 combines historical authenticity with careful preservation, offering a unique opportunity to own a well-maintained classic that still exudes its original charm and elegance. The best one-volume aerial history of World War II, Richard Overy's classic work remains profound and highly original. Far from just an account of the various air battles, Professor Overy treats the air war as a complex and fascinating historical web, woven out of grand strategy, economic mobilization, the recruitment of science, and the nature of leadership and training. Analysing the achievements and failures of the aerial component of the war, he places it in perspective by explaining the role aviation played in the overall conflict. He points out that while the Axis powers tended to limit their use of air power to one major role, such as support of ground forces, the Allies exploited all aspects of aerial doctrine: air defence, strategic bombardment, air-naval cooperation, and ground support. He also demonstrates how aircraft ensured that the Second World War became a people's war and how success in the air war was, in a very real sense, a test of a nation's modernity. The air war was won and lost not only in the skies but also in the factories and the research institutes. Finally, the author dispels many popular myths and in particular reveals that although air power in the form of strategic bombing by itself did not deter-mine the war's final outcome, its use dramatically illustrated the complexities of managing modern war. Richard Overy's The Air War thus deepens our under-standing not only of World War II but of military history in general. Good condition. All autographs come with a Certificate of Authenticity. WW2 Double Victoria Cross winner Capt Charles Upham VC signed 1980 New Zealand 35th ann VE Day FDC. Colditz Castle POW. The only double VC ever awarded to a combat soldier, he is one of only three people to have received the Victoria Cross twice. Upham was awarded his first Victoria Cross on Crete in May 1941, commanding a platoon in the battle for Maleme airfield. During the course of an advance of 3,000 yards his platoon was held up three times. Carrying a bag of grenades (his favourite weapon), Upham first attacked a German machine-gun nest, killing eight paratroopers, then destroyed another which had been set up in a house. Finally, he crawled to within 15 yards of a Bofors anti-aircraft gun before knocking it out. His second VC was earned on July 15, 1942, when the New Zealanders were concluding a desperate defence of the Ruweisat ridge in the 1st Battle of Alamein. Upham ran forward through a position swept by machine-gun fire and lobbed grenades into a truck full of German soldiers. When it became urgently necessary to take information to advance units which had become separated, Upham took a Jeep on which a captured German machine-gun was mounted and drove it through the enemy position. At one point the vehicle became bogged down in the sand, so Upham coolly ordered some nearby Italian soldiers to push it free. Though they were somewhat surprised to be given an order by one of the enemy, Upham's expression left them in no doubt that he should be obeyed. By now Upham had been wounded, but not badly enough to prevent him leading an attack on an enemy strong-point, all the occupants of which were then bayoneted. He was shot in the elbow, and his arm was broken. The New Zealanders were surrounded and outnumbered, but Upham carried on directing fire until he was wounded in the legs and could no longer walk. Good condition. All autographs come with a Certificate of Authenticity. We combine postage on multiple winning lots and can ship worldwide. UK postage from £5.99, EU from £7.99, Rest of World from £9.99
Unique Rare WW2 Target Leipzig Book A Cooper Signed 56 RAF Bomber Veterans. Target Leipzig - The RAF's Disastrous Raid Of 19/20 February 1944 by Alan Cooper, hard back book with dust cover published 2009, both in very good condition. Seventy-nine heavy bombers failed to return from the catastrophic raid on the industrial city of Leipzig on the night of 19/29 February 1944. Some 420 aircrew were killed and a further 131 became prisoners of war. It was at that time by far the RAF's most costly raid of World War II. The author explains the concept of this third raid on Leipzig and describes the two previous ones in October and December 1943, both of which had been deemed successes. He looks at the third raid from every angle, including the defending forces and describes the daylight raid that followed on the 20th by the USAAF. Piece Signed by Prince Frederick, Duke of York soldier from 1764 to 1803. Piece Size 3 by 1 ¾ inches Personally Signed by Prince Frederick, Duke of York and Albany (Frederick Augustus; 16 August 1763 - 5 January 1827) was the second son of George III, King of the United Kingdom and Hanover, and his consort Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz. A soldier by profession, from 1764 to 1803 he was Prince-Bishop of Osnabrück in the Holy Roman Empire. From the death of his father in 1820 until his own death in 1827, he was the heir presumptive to his elder brother, George IV, in both the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland and the Kingdom of Hanover. Frederick was thrust into the British Army at a very early age and was appointed to high command at the age of thirty, when he was given command of a notoriously ineffectual campaign during the War of the First Coalition, a continental war following the French Revolution. Later, as Commander-in-Chief during the Napoleonic Wars, he oversaw the reorganisation of the British Army, establishing vital structural, administrative and recruiting reforms for which he is credited with having done "more for the army than any one man has done for it in the whole of its history". Frederick died of dropsy and apparent cardiovascular disease at the home of the Duke of Rutland on Arlington Street, London, in 1827. After lying in state at the Chapel Royal in London, Frederick's remains were interred in St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle, following his funeral there. Good condition. Aviation Pioneer Sir Tom Sopwith signed 54 sqn Sopwith Pup flown RAF cover. Sopwith became interested in flying after seeing John Moisant flying the first cross-Channel passenger flight. His first flight was with Gustave Blondeau in a Farman at Brooklands. He soon taught himself to fly on a Howard Wright Avis monoplane and took to the air on his own for the first time on 22 October 1910. He crashed after travelling about 300 yards (275 m), but soon improved, and on 22 November was awarded Royal Aero Club Aviation Certificate No. 31, flying a Howard Wright 1910 Biplane. On 18 December 1910, Sopwith won the £4000 Baron de Forest Prize for the longest flight from England to the Continent in a British-built aeroplane, flying 169 miles (272 km) in 3 hours 40 minutes. He used the winnings to set up the Sopwith School of Flying at Brooklands. In June 1912, Sopwith, along with Fred Sigrist and others, set up the Sopwith Aviation Company, initially at Brooklands. On 24 October 1912 using a Wright Model B completely rebuilt by Sopwith and fitted with an ABC 40 hp engine, Harry Hawker took the British Michelin Endurance prize with a flight of 8h 23m. Sopwith Aviation got its first military aircraft order in November 1912, and in December moved to larger premises in Canbury Park Road, Kingston upon Thames. The site of the factory is now a private gated housing estate. A small section of the original building still exists at the junction of Elm Crescent and Canbury Park Road; white painted bay windows can be seen extending from the building to allow as much light as possible to enter the large room in which Sopwith made blueprints for his aircraft designs. The company produced more than 18,000 World War I aircraft for the allied forces, including 5747 of the Sopwith Camel single-seat fighter. Sopwith was awarded the CBE in 1918. Good condition. Flown in B29 Super fortress 44 62070 N 529B,'Fifi' of the Confederate Air Force from Charlotte North Carolina to Greensborough North Carolina flight time 45 mins. Personally Signed by Brigadier General Paul W Tibbets. He left medical school in 1937 and joined the Army Air Corp. at Wright Field in Dayton, Ohio. Here he could fly at government expense. While stationed at Ft. Benning, GA., and being a shotgun enthusiast, he was assigned to the base Skeet Shooting range. This is where he met George Patton. They became good friends and spent many hours on the shooting range. He also served as Patton's pilot during tank range manoeuvres. He has some great stories to tell about him. Paul flew B10 and B12 aircraft in low flying exercises. Returning from one of these missions in December 1941, he heard on his aircraft radio that the Japanese had attacked Pearl Harbour. America was at war. He was then transferred to the 29th Bomb Group to fly the new B17. He temporarily flew the B18 on antisub duty off the U.S. east coast. He was made Commander of the 40th Squadron, 97th Bombardment Group (Heavy) at MacDill Air Base, Tampa, FL. He trained his crew in the B17 and flew many hours, day and night. Most of this time, he slept in his clothes. From Bangor, Maine, he flew across the North Atlantic to England. This was the first group of American-manned, tactical aircraft to reach the United Kingdom in WWII. Paul was made the Executive Officer of the 97th Bombardment Group (Heavy). On August 17, 1942, he flew the first American plane on a daylight bombing raid over German occupied Europe. The mission was to bomb a rail yard in France. This mission was flown in the aircraft named, "Butcher Shop", not his regular plane. His future missions were flown in the "Red Gremlin". Paul had a great attachment to this aircraft and called it, "the Good Gremlin". He flew many missions over German occupied territory. On one of these missions he was wounded but was able to return to his base. Before the invasion of North Africa he flew General Mark Clark on a secret mission to Gibraltar. It was from Gibraltar that General Mark Clark directed the invasion of North Africa, "Operation Torch". He later flew General Eisenhower (sitting on a 2 x 4) to North Africa on an inspection tour. Paul flew many missions in North Africa during 1942-43. He was then moved to Algiers and continued to fly missions. General Doolittle sent Paul back to the states to help develop a new bomber, the B29. After extensive training with the B29, he was sent to Colorado Springs where he was selected to lead a top secret mission. He was 29 years old at the time. He would command the 509th Composite Group. From the Island of Tinian, Paul Tibbets would go down in history as the first pilot to drop the Atomic Bomb - the target, Hiroshima. Good condition.
