Three handwritten letters, three handwritten postcards, a typed postcard, three typed letters and a telegram, Hoglands, Perry Green, Much Hadham Herts, to Gigi Richter. The letters cover the period December 1945-November 1947, when Gigi first met Henry Moore and relate to the time when she was renting the Mall Studio from him. The first postcard dated December 17th / 45 reads, 'Dear Miss Richter, I've just got Valentin's letter with your card enclosed. I shall be delighted if you'd care to come out here to my studio..'. In January the following year, Moore writes '...we shall be in London in about three week's time - it will be nice to see you there + you could have a look at the studio at the Mall, Hampstead'. The remaining letters discuss the Mall Studio and Moore wanting to collect a statue back - 'I should like to collect the reclining statue which I left at the Mall. Monty Python - An autographed copy of ‘The Brand New Monty Python Bok’. First published in 1973, this particular hardback edition contains an array of Monty Python style images and jokes including instructions, storyboards and illustrations similar to those seen in Monty Python’s Flying Circus, stories, fictional advertisements and articles. It features six autographs inscribed personally to Charles from Eric Idle, John Cleese, Michael Palin, Graham Chapman, Terry Jones and Terry Gilliam on the inside cover pages, with an additional hand-drawn sketch added by Gilliam. 29 cm x 22 cm. The book remains in good condition, no pages appear to be missing and spine is in good condition. The dust jacket is torn and badly soiled.

300 (2006) Production made studio maquette of the character of 'Xerxes' Executioner' (played by Leon Laderach) from the hit 2006 blockbuster directed by Zack Snyder. The maquette is made from a form of hollow plastic, with metal chain adornments/shackles and mounted on a heavy custom-made base. The entire piece is hand-painted. Measuring 19.5 x 13.5 inches.  PROVENANCE: The vendor bought this piece from a dealer in Hollywood who was selling many props and costumes from the first 300 film (such as Immortal masks, shields and prosthetics) - including this piece. All the pieces were purchased from an employee who works for Creature Effects Inc: the special effects company responsible for the costume and make-up effects in the film. The vendor has since spoken to artist and owner of Creature Effects Inc. Mark Rappaport who confirmed that this piece was made for the film. The piece was commissioned by Creature Effects from an artist. In his email, (copy provided) he said: Yes, I remember this. It appears to be the original artwork from the film. I haven't seen this piece in a long time.  The maquette is detached from its base as it's missing a bolt from its foot. However, the piece still stands on its base regardless.

Provenance: Believed to have been obtained at the launch event for the publication of Alan Aldridge’s illustrated version of The Butterfly Ball and the Grasshopper’s Feast in 1973. The vendor's father was involved in the development of the book with David Kingsley at Kimpher advertising agency in London under a sub division marketing company called Aurelia Enterprises. The signatures have been authenticated by Roger Epperson (REAL).
