A very rare 1883 (1st August) Brentford first day Parcel Post label, the only known example bearing one shilling orange-brown (plate 13 S.G.163), circular date-stamp with another cancel along the side (some soiling not affecting adhesive); sold together with a National Postal Museum, London, letter discussing its rarity.
A Meissen armorial plate, circa 1860, moulded with the Gotzkowsky pattern and painted in the centre with a spray of deutsche Blumen, the rim with the Imperial Russian Double Eagle incorporating St.George, and the badge of the Order of St. Andrew the First Called, including the blue cross and the letters `SAPR' (Sanctus Andreas Patronus Russiae), and with two further flower sprays, the shaped rim edged in gilding, crossed swords in underglaze-blue, Hermitage inventory number g.4.1956 in red, 24.8cm., 9.75in.
A pair of Continental porcelain gilt-framed plaques, late 19th century, painted by G. Bertini, signed, one with three cavaliers drinking and playing music to two serving girls, the other with an old lady telling the fortune of a young cavalier seated at a table with other gentlemen and a serving girl, first inscribed 'In difesa', 24.7 by 18.4cm., 9.75 by 7.25in.; together with another Continental porcelain gilt-framed plaque, late 19th century, indistinctly signed, depicting a cavalier on horseback surrounded by a group of people in a courtyard, impressed K 824, 21.5 by 14.5cm., 8.25 by 5.75in., (3).
Two Wood-type pearlware Ordinary toby jugs, late 18th century, each seated holding a jug of foaming ale, one wearing a manganese jacket and ochre breeches, the other in a green jacket and brown breeches with a pipe between his feet, each approx. 25.5cm., 10in., the first with glued repair to hat and chips to fingers, (2).
A Belleek Echinus part tea service, First Period (1863-1890), the sea urchin moulded forms with coral handles and moulding to the spouts and feet heightened in pink with gilt rims, comprising: a teapot and cover with shell finial, a milk jug, a sugar bowl, six teacups and saucers, six tea plates; and a shell butter dish edged in pink, black printed marks, faint hairline and tiny nicks to rim of one teacup, (23).
A Belleek 'Chinese Tea Ware' tete-a-tete, First Period, (1863-1890), each piece with fine chevron moulding, the spouts formed from winged beasts, raised on paw feet, angular handles, details heightened in gilt, comprising: a teapot and cover, a milk jug, a sugar bowl and two cups and saucers, black printed factory and diamond registration marks with date letter I for 1872, teapot 14.5cm., 5.75in. long, small chips to feet of teapot, (8).
Four Royal Worcester blush ivory vases and two covers, 1892, the first of bulbous shape decorated with poppies and cornflowers, after Edward Raby, beneath moulded fabric garlands flanked by satyr handles, shape number 1408, domed cover; the second of globular form with flowers and mask terminal handles, shape number 1552; the third of similar shape but smaller, with raised gilt highlights to the flowers, after Edward Raby, which include a butterfly; the fourth of ovoid shape with moulded strapwork and floral sprays flanked by scroll handles, shape number 1618, stepped cover, puce and purple printed marks, tallest 32.4cm., 12.75in., one cover restored, small chip to tip of one handle, (6).

Three gold-mounted desk seals, the first of bloodstone with leaf-scrolled mount, the matrix engraved with a sportsman jumping a gate, 7.5cm; 3in; the second of green hardstone with waisted faceted handle, gadrooned gold mount, the bloodstone matrix with a coat of arms, both English, late 19th century, 6.8cm, 2.625in; the third, circa 1860, with amethyst glass handle, leaf collar with egg and dart cushion, the circular carnelian matrix later engraved with the arms of a Continental Count, 4.7cm, 1.875 in, (3).
Three gold-mounted hardstone desk seals, the first circa 1850, bloodstone handle and matrix engraved with a motto, the openwork mount, collar and cushion chased with flowers; the second late 19th century, with coral-coloured faceted agate stem, the cap formed as a crown, the base with blank circular matrix; the third 20th century, struck: 18K, with smoky quartz handle and blank matrix, petal mounts, height 5.5-6.5cm, 2.125- 2.5in, (3).
