A letter dated 04/06/1912 from W H Pennington addressed to Sgt Lummis on the subject of the Charge of the Light Brigade, he was a survivor of the charge, a King Neptune’s Court certificate awarded to Mason 31/01/1941 for crossing the equator, a photo from last day of filming of Love from a Stranger, 1937, signed on reverse incs Basil Rathbone, Ann Harding, Binnie Hale, Philip Tannura, director Rowland Lee.
WW1 Paperwork & Ephemera of 20717 Private William Edwin Isaac Middlesex Regiment, consisting of handwritten letters to him from his parents and back from him. Letters begin from his first period of enlistment and through to him serving overseas with the Middlesex Regiment. Other documents include various official military documents, postcard photographs of him showing that he is a signaller and was wounded twice. Amongst the paperwork is his original cloth signallers armband (blue cloth with brass crossed flags). Worthy of further research. Paperwork shows him living at 2 Fairview Villa, Manion Road, Mill Hill NW.
