Matchbox Regular Wheels 20a ERF Dropside Lorry - factory trial model - dark maroon body with silver trim, Hybrid rear shallow cab brace which is much shorter than the production versions (see extra photo for comparison with production model), metal wheels with crimped axles - Good Plus to Excellent unboxed with some paint chips. Very rare trial body casting produced between the light green initial trial run and the later standard production run, the first we have seen. Our vendor states this was purchased from an ex-Lesney employee many years ago.

Matchbox Super Kings Adventure 2000 Series K2006 Shuttle Launcher factory Pre-production colour trial - metallic blue body, clear windows, white interior, matt black base, Maltese Cross front wheels, black plastic rollers with original & pliable but a little discoloured black rubber tracks, red plastic launcher complete with a single ivory plastic shuttle disc, the firing mechanism does not lock correctly into place but our vendor informs us this was the first trial run of the components and the moulds were altered to allow the firing pin to lock correctly into position - apart from discoloured tracks model is Excellent Plus with some chrome loss to plated parts. Consigned by ex Lesney employee.

Rubbing and losses to the enameling throughout, with manufacturing flaws. No apparent chips or cracks.
