A near matching pair of circa 1900 stained beech and caned elbow chairs in the Louis XV taste, raised on cabriole legs to scroll feet, 61 cm wide x 86 cm high CONDITION REPORTS First chair - wear and tear conducive with age and use throughout. Appears to have once been painted and stripped and re-polished though some time ago. The cane work to the front of the seat has damage. See images for details. Second chair - similar condition with scratches, knocks and dents conducive with age and use. Again once painted then stripped and re-stained. See images for further details.Comfort - one - the valuer would not sit in as the caning is broken. Otherwise subjective - would say fine but not for lounging.
