B.P. of Charles Fielding.ÿ * Hf. title inscribed 'To Lady Elizabeth Fielding, with the best regards of the Little Unknown, Dec. 22nd, 1828,'ÿ Moore had used the pseudonym Thomas Little in a book of his poems published in 1801. Lady Eliz. Fox-Strangeways, daughter of the 2nd Earl of Ilchester, married in 1796, William Davenport Talbot and was the mother of pioneering photographer Wm. H. Fox Talbot of Lacock Abbey, Wiltshire. Talbot died in 1800, and in 1804 she married Rear-Admiral Charles Fielding, by whom she was the mother of Caroline (b. 1808) and Horatio (b. 1809).
