There are some old water ring marks and polish discolouration. The drawer fronts are all in reasonable condition with only minor liquid marks. The top left hand drawer has a slightly loose section of beading. The first long drawer has a loose knob handle. We have the handle. The sides of the chest have surface marks and scratches as one would expect but no real issues. The plinth base is a little scuffed particularly around the bottom rounded corners. The backboards are original.

CONDITION REPORT: The three New Hall shallow bowls are in first class condition with no damage, no repairs and no restoration. There are no chips or hairline cracks. The tea bowl is similarly in good condition. The lid to the cup and cover is in good order. The top lip of the base has a small chip to the rim and a hairline crack running for 4 cm. There are also firing marks to the glaze on the handle. The handle has also been broken off and glued. We think that this is soft paste.

A vintage Eterna-Matic chronometer Centenaire gentleman's wristwatch. Diameter 35 mm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The watch appears to be ticking away as it should. The pointers adjust correctly. The pointers are tarnished, and the plated finish worn. The dial itself is generally yellowed and a little discoloured. The case is stainless steel with a gold-coloured metal circumference around the dial and a gold-coloured metal surface to the lugs. There are no hallmarks and we would imagine that the upper sections are gold plated. Clearly the watch is automatic not manual as stated in the description. The first two digits on the case back are 46 followed by 15127. We do not know if the crystal is original. The five balls motif that you refer to is not present. The crystal is in extremely good condition which may indicate a later replacement. The cyclops glass is circular whereas the date aperture itself is square.
