JAAKKO OKSANEN NO 21 Jaakko started his career in Finland as a youngster with a local team. He then joined the HJK Helsinki academy, playing for the reserve team Klubi 04 for most of his time in Scandinavia. In October 2017, he made his debut in the Finnish league and played his only senior game for Helsinki aged 16. He joined Brentford in January 2018 where he became a strong part of the B squad very shortly after joining. He went on to make his first team debut on 5 May 2019 at the age of 18 in a 3-0 win for Brentford. He spent season 2020-21 on loan at AFC Wimbledon before joining Greenock Morton on loan for season 2021-22.
KYLE JACOBS NO 6 Club captain Kyle Jacobs started his career in the youth setup at Livingston where he progressed through the ranks making his first team debut in 2009 before going on to make just under 100 appearances for the club. Jacobs moved to Kilmarnock for a short stint in 2013 but returned to Livingston in 2014 to make just under another 50 appearances. In 2015 Jacobs signed for Queen of the South where he spent 5 years and made over 100 appearances. In May 2019 Jacobs joined Greenock Morton where he is now club captain and recently signed a new deal with the club.
LEWIS MCGRATTAN NO 17 After making his way through the youth ranks at Rangers, McGrattan joined the Ton in youth academy in 2017 before moving up to the development squad. McGrattan made his debut in 2018 against Partick Thistle in a 5-1 win and went on to score his first goal for the club against Dunfermline Athletic in a 2-2 draw on July 31st 2021 in the League opener.
REECE LYON NO 10 After signing from St Mirren in 2013, Lyon came through the Greenock Morton youth academy before making his debut in August 2018 against Dumbarton. Lyon scored his first goal for the club in a 2-1 win against Queen of the South. Lyon has gone on to make over 60 appearances for the club.
TOM ALLAN NO 22 Allan started his career at Newcastle United in 2012 where he has remained since. In 2016, Allan scored on his debut for the Newcastle U18’s against Derby County. BRIAN MCLEAN NO 4 McLean began his career in Scotland as a youth and reserve player with Rangers before joining Motherwell in 2005, initially on loan. He then joined Motherwell in 2009 before joining Preston North End in England two years later. After returning to Scotland with Dundee United and then Ross County, he moved to DPMM FC in 2015 and won the S.League title in his first season. He then had a short spell at Hibernian and played in Iceland for IBV before returning for a second spell at DPMM FC in 2018. He returned to Scottish football at Dumbarton, where he spent the 2018-19 season, then signed for Greenock Morton in July 2019.
JIMMY KNOWLES NO 12 Knowles started with Nottingham Forest and Mansfield at Youth level before signing a two-year professional deal with Mansfield in 2019 following inclusion with the first team. Knowles made his debut for Mansfield in a 0-0 draw against Stevenage. In September 2020, Knowles was sent on loan to Notts County where he scored his first career hat-trick against Woking in April 2021. Knowles joined Greenock Morton in August 2021 and will spend the season on loan at the club.
DARREN HYNES NO 16 Hynes came through the youth academy at Greenock Morton after signing from Aberdeen in 2015. In September 2020 Hynes was sent out on a short-term loan to Lowland League side Gretna, returning to Morton in January 2021. He has gone on to make numerous first team appearances under current manager Gus MacPherson.
LEWIS STRAPP NO 3 Strapp joined Morton in 2012 and quickly made his way through the ranks before making his debut for the club against Albion Rovers in 2016 at the age of 16. Strapp joined Elgin City on a short-term loan between August 2017 and January 2018 before moving to Annan Athletic on loan for the 2018-19 season. He scored his first goal for Morton in a 3-2 win against Ayr United on Halloween 2020.
MARK RUSSELL NO 15 Russell first joined Greenock Morton in 2013 as part of the development squad before going on to make his first team debut at the age of 17 in 2013. In 2014 he signed a two-year deal with Morton and featured in the PFA Scotland League One Team of the Year for season 2014-15 after being part of the League One winning team. In 2018 Russell joined Falkirk before joining Finn Harps 6 months later where he spent three seasons. Russell returned to Morton in June 2021 and has made a handful of appearances in the time since his return.
Frederick Landseer Griggs (1876-1938) 'Epiphany', 1918 (Comstock, 23) etching, inscribed 'To M.C. Gere from F.L. Griggs' in pencil, from an edition of 93 sheet 23.3 x 18cm, unframed The plate was not published, but was presented to Griggs' friends after the end of the First World War. The inscription is the first and second antiphons from the First Vespers of Christmas in the Roman breviary and reads: 'The King of Peace, whom the whole world desireth to see, hath shown his greatness; The King of Peace hath shown his Greatness above all the kings of the whole world.'. (Comstock)Condition report: The sheet is attached with two pieces of tape to the mount, some light soiling and a few areas of light foxing emerging, an old horizontal crease along top margin but this is well outside of the plate mark.

Written by Pat Mills in 1976, this story was pulled from publication for being too violent (along with the first strip of Judge Dredd) and this artwork was repurposed.
