LANCASHIRE, Latchford, Warrington [Racecourse], uniface cast copper, 1761, unsigned, horse standing left, held by a jockey, back stamped No. 151, 35mm, 13.65g (W 1567; D & W 324/27; cf. DNW T18, 743). Good fine, rare £300-£400 --- Provenance: Bt February 1997. Warrington racecourse was situated on Latchford Heath, south of the town. Events were staged there in the first half of the 18th century and some sources indicated that racing had ceased by 1760, but these well-known 1761 passes infer that racing continued after that time

This was the only copy of the book in Mr Prowse's possession.
Estate of Dave Prowse - Peter Cushing (1913-1994) - Grand Moff Tarkin in Star Wars - personal letters between Cushing and Prowse - two personally written letters from Cushing to Prowse in the 1990s. The first dated 31st January 1990 and speaks to Prowse about the postponement of his hip operation, with Cushing offering some advice. The second is dated 21st December 1992 and talks of an ankle injury and a new 'enterprise' that Prowse is undertaking. Both signed by Cushing in fountain pen ink. Each oddly cut, the largest 13x15cm. Unique personal inter-cast correspondence. Prowse and Cushing worked together many times - not only in Star Wars but also several of the Hammer Horror films. They remained acquaintances for much of their careers.

Estate of Dave Prowse - Blacksnake / Black Snake (1973) - Mr Prowse's personal production script from the sexploitation film in which Prowse played Walker's Brother. The script runs to 95pp and is bound in its original brown card covers. A phone number is penned to the first page in Prowse's hand but otherwise unannotated. Black Snake is a 1973 American film directed by Russ Meyer and starring Anouska Hempel, David Warbeck, Percy Herbert, and Thomas Baptiste. It was Meyer's return to self-financed projects, following the end of his brief deal at 20th Century Fox. Meyer's only attempt at the Blaxploitation genre, it was filmed in Panavision and was shot on location in Barbados. It was such a box office bomb, that a film named Foxy starring Edy Williams which Meyer's wanted to follow this film, was never made.
