THE BEATLES - PLEASE PLEASE ME LP (ORIGINAL UK STEREO 'BLACK AND GOLD' PCS 3042). An iconic 1st UK stereo 'black and gold' copy of Please Please Me. This copy is the very first pressing on Parlophone with the distinctive 'black and gold' labels (PCS 3042, with Dick James credits for tracks A1, A2, A6, A7, B4 and B6). The record is in VG+ condition with hairlines/ scuffs across the playing surfaces, none of which are feelable. Labels are clean and clear. ZMT tax code on side 2. Matrix/mother/stampers: YEX 94-1 1 R & YEX 95-1 1 G. The first pressing ('right' aligned Angus McBean credit) sleeve is in VG condition with tearing to the corners of the cover, also staining to the bottom left of the sleeve and storage/edgewear. Aside from the last 3 letters, the spine is fully legible.

An amazing unique, one-off copy of the 2014 reissue of The Return Of The Durutti Column issued by Factory Benelux (FBN 114).The label, in conjunction with Peter Saville produced 10 unique copies with a bespoke coloured sandpaper on the inner sleeve. There were 10 different colours produced, with only 1 copy of each cover. This copy is black, with fine grit sandpaper. Includes a certificate of authenticity signed by Peter Saville. Also includes a 7” vinyl copy of the The First Aspect of the Same Thing by Martin Hannett which was originally a flexi disc that came with a limited number of the original release and a print of an image of Vini Reilly. All contents are in lovely Ex+ condition showing minimal wear. A true collectors' item.

A wonderful addition to any Joy Division collection with this beautifully kept original UK copy (self-released on Enigma Records PSS 139) of Joy Division's elusive debut release An Ideal For Living. This is the first pressing with serrated rim and matrix/runout PSS 139 EP A1 EG & PSS 139 EP B1 EG. The record is in superlative Ex+ condition showing only a couple of extremely minor, faint and wispy paper marks to the beautifully clean and glossy playing surfaces. With sharp and clean labels showing only a few spindle marks. The original foldout picture cover is in impressive Ex+ condition showing only a little discolouration to the edges, a little very minor ringwear and one or two very minor 'folds' - it would not be correct to call these creases as they are only very light in nature. Absolutely no need to upgrade here.

Im oberen Teil zentrale Darstellung des deutschen Kaisers, flankiert von sieben Kurfürsten, darunter acht deutsche Herzöge, in den Händen jeweils ein Schild mit Landeswappen haltend. Flacher, scharniergelagerter Deckel mit Knauf in Form eines sitzenden Löwen. Kugeldrücker, am Henkelansatz geschlagene Wiener Meistermarke und "W". Bandhenkel mit fein reliefiertem Dekor, Darstellung von Leda und dem Schwan zwischen Rankendekor. Bodenrosette mit gekreuzten Pfeilen und "H.S.". Höhe 49 cm. Im ersten Viertel des 17. Jhdts. waren in Wien zwei Meister mit den Initialen "H.S." tätig: Hanns Sichart (Hintze, Band 7, Nr. 1490) und Hanns Schuerz (Hintze, Band 7, Nr. 1498). Beide kommen als Urheber für diese Kanne infrage.Die Zahl der Kurfürsten erhöhte sich 1623 mit der Erhebung der Herzöge von Bayern in den Kurfürstenstand auf acht. Da die Gravur nur sieben Kurfürsten zeigt, muss die Kanne davor entstanden sein. Both could be the maker of this jug.The number of prince-electors increased to eight in 1623, when the Bavarian dukes were raised to prince-electors. The rear cover broken in the center. Seven cords, the back missing (a fragment included). The rear with an old handwritten label, "Miss. y Vspr. de Varios Santos Glorias y Credos p. 1a Clase".
