Three gem set dress rings, comprising a diamond and green stone panel ring, the old brilliant-cut diamond bordered by rectangular-cut green stones to the cardinal points, framed by flowerheads and foliage, two colour precious metal mounted, a late Victorian half pearl half hoop ring, 18ct gold mounted, hallmarked for Birmingham 1889, (one half pearl deficient, half pearls untested for origin), and a sapphire and diamond cluster ring, 9ct gold mounted, ring sizes P½, M½ and O respectively (3)Condition report: First ring: green stones are heavily chipped and abraded and will require replacement. Two 19th century prospectors' bar brooches, each modelled as a shovel with wirework rope and nuggets, the first with pickaxe and bucket, inscribed 'PRETORIA', the second with later clasp fitting, lengths 5.1cm and 5cm respectively (2)Condition report: Both brooches have scuffs, scratches, nicks and chips throughout, commensurate for age and use, with patchy tarnishing. The brooch pins are functioning. One brooch has a later sfaety catch hook. Neither brooch is marked and both are untested for metal standard.
