The ticket is numbered 426 and measures 5 ¼" by 3 ¼" and is in Excellent condition - This was the property of Denis O'Dell, one of the four original 'non Beatles' directors of Apple

Born: 8 July 1946. Died: 4 December 2021, aged 75 Christine Jennifer Clyne studied and trained in couture in London and Paris. She launched her first business, Buckle Under, with business partner and friend Viv Knowland in the early 1970s, creating clothes and accessories for London’s finest. After her marriage she lived in Edinburgh where she and her talented seamstresses had kitted out most of Scotland’s finest, numbering among her clientele members of the Scottish aristocracy and several internationally recognised stars of stage, screen and television, and not least Princess Diana ,  about whom she remained discreet.It was on her initiative that several unforgettable charity fundraising events were organised in Edinburgh in the late 1980s. She staged catwalk extravaganzas in the McEwen Hall, at Hopetoun House and Harburn House in West Lothian. There was the Oriental Ball in aid of the Children’s Cancer Fund at the Royal Museum of Scotland in 1989She relocated to London in 2017, lived in Gloucestershire and carried on with her couture costume and also interior design.The Cotswold Auction Company is delighted to be able to offer a small selection of her superb clothes at auction . We are hoping to host a stand alone sale of her remaining collection later in the year.

Shoes of this type are historically known in India and South East Asia, as a matter of fact, they are an honorary and royal attribute in Malaysia. The name derives from "pada", meaning "foot" in Sanskrit.There are padukas of various materials, those in metal were probably used as bathing clogs to prevent contamination during ritual ablutions ( (Christiane Serra Fabri-Terlinden, Mughal Silver Magnificence, XVI - XIX th, 1987, p. 167).
