Face restored oval cast brass with renumbering strip and earlier number 2900 visible underneath, measures 9in x 5in.

Worksplate THE ENGLISH ELECTRIC COMPANY LTD LONDON No 2377/D417 1958 THE VULCAN FOUNDRY LTD LOCOMOTIVE WORKS ENGLAND ex British Railways Baby Deltic Class 23 numbered D5900 which was the first of this small class of 10 locomotives. Originally allocated to 34B Hornsey and withdrawn from 34G Finsbury Park in November 1968 and scrapped a George Cohen Kettering. Rectangular chromed brass in lightly face cleaned condition. Measures 10in x 4.5in.

Nameplate TOTNES CASTLE ex Class 57 57605. Originally built as Class 47 D1856 at Brush Works in 1965 and later becoming 47206 in May 1974. Converted to Class 57 at Brush Traction, Loughborough in Feb 2004 and entered service with First Great Western on the Night Riviera sleeper services in Sep 2004. Named at Totnes station on 21/9/04 by the Lord Lieutenant of Devonshire. This original nameplate was replaced by new ones in the same style as Class 43 Castle HSTs. Still in service with GWR. Rectangular cast aluminium in as removed condition measures 51.5in x 10in. Sold on behalf of Great Western Railway for their chosen charities and comes with an official GWR certificate of authenticity confirming the original owner.

GWR Stainless Steel Motif. One of only 12 of this type made and fitted to Power Cars 43187, 43188, 43005, 43016, 43042, 43194. This set is confirmed as having been removed from 43005 formerly St. Michael's Mount and this was the first GWR Castle Class Power Car to go off lease as part of the Castle Class withdrawal on 1st April 2023, they were removed at Laira Depot between that date and the 4th July 2023 when 43005 was returned to its owner Angel Trains Limited. Laser cut Stainless steel complete with backing plates, the W stands 38.5in tall. Sold on behalf of Great Western Railway for their chosen charities and comes with an official GWR certificate of authenticity confirming the original owner.

Smokebox numberplate 60043 ex LNER Gresley A3 pacific 4-6-2 built at Doncaster in 1935 as works number 1500 named BROWN JACK, originally numbered LNER 2508, 578 and 43. Allocated to Haymarket and 64A St Margarets from where it was withdrawn in May 1964 and scrapped. Face cleaned with original bolts, rear and parts of edges original. The first time this smokebox numberplate has appeared for sale.

In face restored condition, the nameplate measures 104in x 8in and cabside 34.75in x 10in. The first time this set has appeared at auction.
