REVEREND. F.O. MORRIS "A History of British Birds", in six volumes, 4th edition, published John C Minno London 1895, together with Edited by EDWARD THOMAS "British Country Life", in two volumes, "Spring and Summer" and "Autumn and Winter", published Hodder & Stoughton 1907 (2) CONDITION REPORTS The History of British Birds: Have not checked to see if very page is there, however the majority of the engravings appear to be present, there are some pages stuck/uncut to the tops in various volumes. There is a tear to one of the first pages of volume one, haven't noticed any others else where in the that volume or the other volumes. There are areas of discolouration variously throughout, mainly to the front and back pages and the edges. The edges are also dogged. Some pages have been slight ripped at the top where they haven't been cut/separated properly. British Country Life: plates appear to be present and intact - haven't checked every page. There is discolouration and foxing particularly to front and back pages and on the edges. Wear and tear conducive with age and use. See images for more details.

A collection of Meissen "Blue Onion" pattern tea wares comprising five cups, three saucers and a miniature jug and a small collection of Minton "Grasmere" china comprising eight coffee cans and eight saucers, an oval lidded tureen and an oval serving dish CONDITION REPORTS The Meissen cups and saucers only - two of the saucers have cross swords cancelled lines and four of the cups. One cup and saucer appears uncancelled, as does the small milk jug. Condition on the cancelled pieces first: one of the cups has had a significant repair to the handle, another cup is fully restored throughout, another cup has some restoration to the top edge and the fourth has some roughness to the edge, otherwise appears ok. Both saucers appear ok. The uncancelled pieces: The jug only has one leaf at the base of the handle but is not missing, the glaze is ok. All items have general wear and tear to include surface scratches etc and are in need of a very good clean - see images for more detail
