Rare late Medieval iron bound cuir bouilli table casket, probably French or Spanish, circa first half 16th Century, the domed cover with swing handle and three straps over relief-tooled surface, enclosing later-lined interior, the conforming strapwork body having a short side panel lifting to reveal a 'secret' drawer, on later brass ball feet, 17.5cm x 11cm x 15cm high excluding handleCondition report: Typical age-related cracking and scuffs to leather of cover and rear panel. Decoration is now hard to decipher. Later interior and feet as catalogued. No lock or key. Otherwise general wear consistent with great age as per images.

Three 18th century Chinese teabowls and a Japanese cup on a wooden standCondition report: The Japanese cup has rubbing to the gilt and decoration and small fracture line in the glaze. The first teabowl with three figures has a discoloured fracture line from the rim running down and  3 minor chips to the rim measuring 1mm each. The second tea bowl with red border and four figures had repair to the rim, causing farcture lines and rubbing to glaze and decoration. The larger teabowl had fracture line from the rim which has been stained brown and areas of staining to the surface, and slight chipping to the rim.
