1965 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud III Long Wheelbase.Registration number: JGC 692C.Mileage showing: 66,489. Rare long wheelbase model CFL21 chassis. The car is 100mm longer than the short wheelbase, which is noticeable in the rear doors and fitted without the rear division. Finished in dark blue with beige leather interior and fitted with the 6.2 litre aluminium-alloy V8 engine accompanied by a four speed automatic gearbox. There were 2044 standard short wheelbase cars manufactured and 253 long wheelbase with 11 were built without rear division. Believed to be only 3 cars including CFL21 to of survived. This particular model has special features a divided front seat, rather than the usual bench seat. Sky Top sliding sunroof. Electric windows. Chrome wing mirrors and top fixing driving mirror. Combined parking and blinking lights. Rear picnic tables. Fitted with radial white wall tyres all round. Chassis card records included plus some previous service receipts and old MOT certificates. Margaret Kerry (née Lynch; born May 11, 1929) is an American screen actress, dancer, voice artist, camera double, radio producer, director and host and media personality, best known for her work as a model for Walt Disney Pictures, where she served as the inspiration and pantomimed the Peter Pan character of Tinker Bell. Born as Peggy Lynch, in Springfield, Illinois, she was adopted at three years old and moved to Los Angeles. Her first role was as a fairy in the 1935 film A Midsummer Night's Dream directed by Max Reinhardt. She worked under her real name as a dancer and actor in three of the Our Gang comedy shorts. The Dinner Service of Anton Mosimann: A modern Wedgwood porcelain 'Astbury Black' pattern dinner service, printed marks, comprising: ten dinner plates, ten soup bowls, ten salad plates, a teapot and cover, a two-handled sugar bowl and cover, a creamer, ten tea cups with matching saucers, and ten side plates (lot)Provenance: The property of Anton Mosimann OBE DL.Footnotes: Note: Anton Mosimann OBE DL (b.1947) is a Swiss chef and restaurateur. He is perhaps best known as a former Maitre Chef de Cuisines at the Dorchester Hotel in London, an appointment he held from 1975 (aged 28) until 1988, during which time the restaurant at the Dorchester became the first outside France to achieve a two star rating in the Michelin Guide. In 2000 Mosimann received the Royal Warrant of Appointment to HRH Prince of Wales (now HM Charles III) for catering. Mosimann has cooked for five British Prime Ministers and four presidents of the U.S.A., as well as four generations of the British royal family, and notably at the evening reception of the wedding of HRH Prince William to Catherine Middleton in 2011. He was awarded an OBE for services to the Tourist and Food Industries in 2004, and also holds chevalier status of the French Ordre National du Mérite Agricole. Condition Report: This service is in overall very good condition with few signs of wear or use, amounting to the occasional light scratch to the porcelain and minor wear to footrims. Three dinner plates, one side plate, one tea cup and one saucer have an incised X to the underside, probably indicating these are factory seconds - these plates do not show any signs of defects. A joined panel of stamped crimson velvet, 18th century, worked with a pattern of flowers and trellis, 247.5 x 101cm; together with two revivalist silk panels, 19th century, one with a gilt-metal lace border, 285 x 51cm; a Greek or Italian long embroidered panel, 19th century, 182 x 22cm; and a circular red velvet table centre or tray cover, late 19th century, with gilt-metal lace border, 19.5cm diameter (5) Provenance: The Carmen Thyssen Collection.Condition Report: The first described: a split to one long side and small patched triangular sections to one short end. Some fading to the colour to be expected with age. One or two tiny holes. The stitching between the two panels is coming apart in one area. The reverse with staining. The revivalist panel in the first photo: heavily split and frayed in areas across the width of the panel and in smaller sections. Colours are faded. The revivalist panel with gilt-metal lace border: splits and fraying. Some colour fading. It has been cut from a larger panel and later stitched with the border and backed. The Greek embroidered panel: the short ends with splits. Some dark stain patches. Some stitches have frayed or are picked loose. Old labels attached to both front and back. The table or tray cover: good overall condition with some dark marks to the reverse.
