Two fine quality Chinese pale celadon jade pendants 19th century / early 20th century, the first of rounded and shaped rectangular form, one side carved with a figure carrying a ruyi sceptre and riding an elephant within a lobed oval reserve, a wufu beneath and two opposed exotic birds above, the reverse with a four character inscription, 5.7 x 4.3cm.; the second of ovoid form, one side carved with a figure beside flowering lotus, the other with a lotus leaf and seed pods and a leaping fish, beneath two opposing stylised fish to the hanging mount, 6.7 x 4.2cm. An impressive Indian ivory and marquetry inlaid rosewood table casket first half of 20th century, of rectangular form with coffered top with a hinged cover enclosing velvet lined storage over a carved floral and foliate frieze, the main lid also opening to reveal a similar storage compartment, the casket inlaid all over in ivory, various exotic woods and penwork with scenes of elephants in woodland, birds in flight above, the moulded outset base raised on turned toupie feet, 19¾ x 13½in. (50 x 34.25cm.), 13in. (33cm.) high. See Illustration
