A very interesting early 17th century first edition of ‘The History of the Reign of King Henry The Seventh’. Authored by the English philosopher Lord Francis Bacon, Viscount of St Alban. Printed in London by W Stansby and William Barret in 1622. Not with original binding, has been rebound as is common for a book of its age.
