Consigned from local house clearance deceased estate, with two accompanying postcards from Fred Yates to painting's Bournemouth owner, from Eastbourne dated 1960.He spent much of the 1950s and 1960s as a schoolteacher, first in Bournemouth, and Brighton, where he lived for 12 years. It is during this time that the artist struck up a friendship with the paintings owner living in Bournemouth. Painting 11.5 " x 47" Minor paint flaking, will need a clean.
