Rare 1920 Sports For Boys Magazines: Incredibly rare chance to obtain the magazine that only lasted for 28 issues. From the first issue of 9th October 1920 Vol 1 Number 1 until April 1921. (13 issues). All sports covered with good football content and pictures. C/W 1904 Football Chat magazine. Please note Sports For Boys are good but were possibly ex bound as all spines have been neatly taped. All covers included. (14)
Southampton The Dell + St Marys Photos: Absolute must view for Saints fans. First folder contains photos of the Dell being demolished (Pompey fans dream) but the second folder shows the building of St Marys and photos of its new rooms and suites etc. Privately taken with around 200 6 x 4 photos. Ray Woods QPR 53/54 Match Worn Football Shirt: Rare silk home shirt made by Uwin. Number 2 to rear. A couple of tiny holes but surely the only existing one left in this style. Possibly brought in to coincide with QPRs first season with floodlights although players not keen so this kit didn't stay for long. Piece of history.
QPR Ray Jones Match Issued Football Shirt: 2007/2008 match v Southampton where every player and staff wore the shirt with the name Ray Jones on his back. Ray had recently died in a car crash and was establishing himself as a first team player even though he was only 18. Number 31 to rear with sewn in Ray Jones 1988-2007 RIP to front. This was not worn in the match but worn by either a player who didn't make the squad or staff member that day. No arm patches.
Canada 1986 World Cup Football Memorabilia: Includes Canada"s official tournament brochure and an unused ticket v France which was their first ever match in a World Cup Finals. C/W poster picked up in Mexico. 1985 qualifying match programme v Honduras, Two unused tickets for home friendly v Wales pre tournament and a menu to celebrate Canada getting to the finals which doubles up as a list of players and forthcoming matches both post and pre tournament with a photo of what the official mascot photo will look like. C/W 1987 Canada v USA Olympic qualifying programme and more. Some rare items.
1966 Football World Cup FDC Collection: Lovely items by The Guardian with a different First Day Cover for every group match (24). Each one had official World Cup stamp and date stamped the day of the match. C/W Final and England Winners with 6 more to include WC Willie. Nicely presented in album.
Southend United "Specials" Football Programmes: Folder containing home Friendlies Testimonials Sherpa Van Leyland Daf Associate Members and Freight Rover which includes harder to obtain lowest gate for a first team match 85/86 Northampton. Friendlies include A4 sheet v Fulham 84/85, Ipswich 73/74 and a 63/64 Essex Prof Cup SF v Orient. Worth a look. (69)
45/46 Portsmouth Home Football Programmes: 29 Programmes mainly first team to include matches v Tottenham, Southampton, West Brom, West Ham, Newport, Notts Forest, Arsenal, Chelsea, Ipswich and League Winners Birmingham. Majority very good housed in folder. (29)
Liverpool Football Ticket + Programme Folders: From 90/91 to 2014/2015 with a folder for each season (34). This collection features all the cups Liverpool have been involved in to include League Cup FA Cup European Competitions and Testimonials both home and away and must be nearly complete of all programmes and tickets in this period. There are at first look no general League programmes or tickets. Each Liverpool folder with season to spine must have around 15 programmes in each so I expect there will be around 500 programmes and 500 tickets. Incredible must view collection. (6 boxes)
Walter Pollard West Ham Football Memorabilia: A contract signed by Pollard and West Hams first manager Syd King for season 32/33. The season that Pollard played in the FA Cup Semi Final. Sadly Pollard passed away aged aged 38 in 1945 and there are 3 letters signed by manager Charlie Paynter answering his wifes help for money from the club. C/W a photo and press cuttings of his West Ham career, his rise to fame at Burnley as a youth player and his meeting with Winston Churchill.
1963 West Ham Signed Youth Cup Final Programme: West Ham beat Liverpool 5-1 after trailing in the first leg 3-1. Nine of the West Ham team have signed the cover including Cripps Sissons and 4 goal hero Britt. Match details written to rear team page. 100% genuine collated by West Ham journalist whilst interviewing the players for a magazine.
