The match was played prior to the suspension of the League due to World War II and both clubs entered the Southern League for the first time in this season 1939/40. However after War broke, the Southern League was split into Eastern and Western Sections and Kidderminster did not compete. They returned to the Southern League in 1948. Slightly creased. They entered the competition in the Fourth Qualifying Round and this was their first tie as a League club. It was also the first win for Hereford over a League club in the competition. In the year 1803” together with crowned GR cypher, trophies of arms, floral sprays, saltire etc. for full length of blade and all of finest quality, regulation gilt brass hilt, silver wire bound grip. Blade 81.5cms. Good condition, gilding to hilt worn, blade retains most original finish.
