ROYAL DOULTON; HN370, 'Henry VIII', an extremely rare example, first version, model 271, issued 1920-38, height 20cm.This is a particularly rare figurine as this model was introduced in 1920 but in such limited numbers that fewer than five are known to exist. This example has an impressed date for 1919, making it a year before production, impressed model number 271, and is a colourway version of the 1920 HN370. The Royal Doulton book indicates that only one of these figurines is known. Provenance: Private collection. Condition Report: To request estimate, please submit a Condition Report request. Small shallow chip to the bottom of the cloak, small glaze fault to the reverse of the figure, light crazing to the glaze, otherwise good.

T851 RCR - Renault Laguna 1.6 16v RT Sport car, in blue. First registered in May 1999, this five-door hatchback RT Sport edition originally boasted an upgraded 16 valve engine, rear spoiler, sun roof and air conditioning. This example in blue, with a mileage circa 60,000. Running condition unknown as has been stood for over a year. V5c not present (this message will be updated if it is located), one key, and original driver's handbook present. Shaku Sōen (1860 - 1919)A Japanese painting with calligraphy, ink on paper, mounted as hanging scrolls, painted with side profile of Daruma looking up to the inscription atop of him, signed by the artist with three seals.66 x 47cm, with fitted wood box.cf. Shaku Sōen, or Kōgaku Shaku Sōen, was a rōshi of the Rinzai school and was abbot of both Kenchō-ji and Engaku-ji in Kamakura, Japan. He was on of the first Zen Buddhist masters to teach in the United States. Condition Report: Slight staining, creasing and foxing to the painting, yellowing, fraying and staining to the top section of the back of the mount, commensurate with age.

A native of Shunde, Guangdong, he moved to Malaysia in 1906 and founded Malaysia's first integrated rubber factory in 1921, which is still run by his family today.
