1978/79 England cricket tour blazer to Australia - worn by Ian Botham - light blue blazer with white embroidered St George and The Dragon crest and embroidered below "1978 Australia 1979" comes with Ian Botham name label sewn into the collar and a signed TCCB publicity card - England won the six test match series 5- 1- the first time that England had won back to back series. Botham finished his Test career with 5,200 runs at an average of 33.54, taking 383 wickets at an average of 28.40, and holding 120 catches. He is generally recognized as one of England`s greatest Test players and will be remembered together with Bob Willis for 1976 Headingly Test match against the Australians. He was also England`s captain for 12 Tests in 1980 and 1981. Since the inauguration in 1926 the finals had been keenly contested up until the war with Harlequins winning on 4 occasions and London Welsh on the other 2 occasions.
Rare 1935/36 New Zealand v England rugby tour dinner menu signed by Prince Obolenksy: held after the match at Twickenham on 4th Jan at The Hotel Metropole London in Honour of the New Zealand Team -profusely signed in pencil by members of each team and guests to the front and back cover, and to the inside -to incl Prince Obolenksy ( twice, once on the cover and again on the inside) both Captains B C Gadney(Eng) and J E Manchester (NZ) plus 1906 Springbok Paul Roos(Guest Speaker) plus Peter Cranmer, P Candler, C Stoop, and many more. Prince Obolenksy scored 2 tries (one quite remarkable from his own 25yd line) on his debut in a 13 -0 victory over the All Blacks -helping England to their first ever victory over New Zealand

Rare 1951 France v New Zealand Rugby League programme (A) -being the first French team to visit Australasia/ New Zealand - played at Carlow Park, Auckland, New Zealand 4th August 1951 -some slight discolouring to the edges, attendance 27000 written to the centre page and small note written on the back page -otherwise (G) In 1951 France embarked on their first ever tour of Australasia, led by the legendary chain-smoking fullback, Puig Aubert. Their flamboyant style of unorthodox attacking rugby attracted huge crowds -drawing the tests with Australia -before leaving for New Zealand - France played 28 matches during the three-month tour, winning 21 matches, drawing twice and losing just five times

1980 Toyota Cup Final Nottingham Forest (0) v Nacional (1) football programme -English edition. This was the first cup final sponsored by Toyota and the competition moved to a single match format held on neutral ground, in Toyota`s home country Japan. The sponsor created a new trophy, the Toyota Cup, which was coupled with the original one and were awarded to the Captain and Vice Captain respectively. This cup was played for the last time in 2004. However, as of December 2005 it was restored once again but this time featuring the winners of the Recopa Sudamericana against the European Supercup champions.
1950/51 Scotland v Denmark international No. 5 football shirt worn by Willie Woodburn: Navy blue long sleeve shirt with the Scotland crest sewn onto the chest and embroidered with "S v D 1950/51" and No 5 sewn on the back made by Umbro. Scotland played Denmark at Hampden Park on 12 May winning 3-1. William `Willie` Woodburn was born in Edinburgh 1919; he played for Edinburgh Ashton before signing as a professional for Rangers in October 1937. He made his debut on 20 August 1938 in a 2-2 draw in the League against Motherwell. After the war he established himself in the Rangers side and won four League Championships with the club. He appeared in the first Scottish League Cup Final in April 1947 when Rangers beat Aberdeen 4-0. He won 24 caps making his debut in a 1-1 draw with England at Wembley. He is also an inductee of the Scottish Football Hall of Fame and the Rangers F.C. Hall of Fame but his career was cut short when he received a life ban from the game for indiscipline. The England international Tom Finney, one of many well-known forwards Woodburn had encountered in his international career, described the ban as "a grave injustice". The SFA revoked their punishment three years later, but by then Woodburn was 37 and his playing career was over.
