Sarah-Jane Szikora (British 1971-) "Ginger Nuts" and "Field" Signed, titled and numbered V/L and 240/295 in pencil in the margin, 2005, with numbered certificates of authenticity, limited edition giclee prints (2).image size 31cm x 51cm (12.25in x 20in) and 40.5cm x 30.5cm (16in x 12in)Qty: 2The prints are both in very good, original condition with no obvious faults to report. The first print is ornately framed and glazed. The frame has some knocks and losses. The second print is unframed but mounted and sealed. The mountboard has some minor knocks and bumps commensurate with age.
Sir William Rothenstein (British 1872-1945), a sketch of Mrs Patrick Hamilton playing a violin, pencil on paper, signed 'WR 1922 for Miss Russell 1935' in pencil, page size 29cm x 40cm, unframed. Born Bradford 1845, Rothenstein became a key and influential figure in British art and society in the first half of the 20th Century. A master draughtsman, who was also a war artist in both World Wars & became principle at the Royal College of Art 1920 to 1935. He influenced many prominent artists including, Edward Burra, Henry Moore, Evelyn Dunbar, Edward Bawden, Eric Ravilious and John Piper.
