Comprising: City Of Westminster Air Raid Warden appointment form for Miss KL Holstins (dated 30th March 1939), her hallmarked silver ARP badge, uniform patches, Civil Defence patches, a ' Mobile VAD ' patch (Voluntary Aid Detachment). Along with an unrelated WWI First World War replacement War Medal awarded to a 19998 Private R Carey of the South Wales Borderers, and an ' In The Service Of Peace ' UN medal. Interesting collection.

A collection of original WWI First World War photographs and mementos, all relating to a 32538 Lance Corporal Percy Wykes of the Devonshire (and) Duke Of Cornwall's Light Infantry Regiment. Comprising; several real photographic postcards, all neatly placed in sleeves and annotated to the sleeve, souvenir silk postcards sent home to his beloved (a Miss A Marsh of Frome, Somerset) and a collection of silk handkerchiefs (mentioned in one of the postcards) that he sent back. A fascinating collection.
A collection of original WWI First World War era photographs, appearing to have been taken by a soldier whilst serving in the Middle East. The photographs - largely small in size (4cm x 7cm and slightly larger). Various views - including that of medical supplies, interesting shot of a makeshift bridge (using canoes) carrying ambulances, views of natives etc. All housed within a period ' Abdulla Cigarettes ' tin, from the same period. The photographs suffer some faded, and are all 'curled' at edges. Otherwise fascinating collection.

Each detailed with name of soldier to front, and various service details within. All filled out by hand, some with various official stamps. Fascinating collection.

A collection of 17x assorted FDC's and postcards, all signed, all relating to the RMS Titanic Disaster. Various signed first day covers and special issue postcards. Autographs include those of survivors, and their relatives; Millvina Dean, Hjordis Ohlsson, A.T. Lightoller, James Hartley, Margaret Howman, Robert Ballard, EB Taylor, Don Smith, Christopher Allsop etc. Some duplicates. Interesting collection. RMS Titanic was a British passenger liner that sank in the North Atlantic Ocean in the early hours of 15 April 1912, after colliding with an iceberg during her maiden voyage from Southampton to New York City. There were an estimated 2,224 passengers and crew aboard, and more than 1,500 died, making it one of the deadliest commercial peacetime maritime disasters in modern history. RMS Titanic was the largest ship afloat at the time she entered service and was the second of three Olympic-class ocean liners operated by the White Star Line. She was built by the Harland and Wolff shipyard in Belfast. Thomas Andrews, her architect, died in the disaster
Searle Family Colleciton; an assortment of ephemera and personal effects from William Searle of the Royal Army Medical Corp ( RAMC ) - based in Egypt / Palestine during the First World War. To include; his St John's Ambulance books and notes, souvenirs from Palestine and Egypt, his cap badge (and other badges), a series of interesting photographs - believed to show the interiors of a Bristol hospital, a photograph of Searle post-war in his St John's Ambulance Uniform, a fascinating hand-written document titled ' 43rd Stationary Hospital EEF - Statistical Return Of Sick & Wounded For Period Commencing August 14th 1917 to May 13th 1918 ' which sees some 41,000 patients handled and lists their ailments by name and the number of those suffering of each, and a selection of other personal effects. Interesting collection, and a fascinating insight into First World War medicine.

Comprising: his ' Pour La Victoire ' 1916 certificate, his Croix De Guerre War Medal, another Croix De Guerre (with bronze palm - for a mention is dispatches), and his Medaille Militaire ( Military Medal ). All neatly framed in a glass presentation frame.

An incredible original WWI First World War medal group, belonging to a 44507 Company Quartermaster Sergeant ( CQMS ) E.W. Day of the Royal Engineers. Comprising: 1914-15 Star, Victory Medal, War Medal and Distinguished Conduct Medal ( DCM ). Along with the original miniature medals on bar. Supplied with information from the London Gazette, 22nd October, 1917 which reads:'44507 C.Q.M.S. EW Day, RE, Maldon - When ordered to a certain point with his battery, on the unfulfilled assumption that all objectives would be taken by the time he got there, and orders to stop him going-up having failed to reach him, he found himself, with eight men and eight horses, only 300 yards behind our new front line. He left his men under shelter of a derelict tank and waited himself with one man at the rendezvous from 10pm until 4am. He returned at day-break, capturing one of the enemy on his way and bringing him back to camp. On his return, although he had been wounded in two places, he refused to stop work until he had replaced the rations which had been destroyed by shell fire '.A fascinating and poignant medal group, with provenance.
