Constructed from balsa wood and plastic, the model features custom made rubber wheels and still retains all of its original electric lights (most of which still work when connected to a battery), which are operated by switches to the top. Fine details such as seatbelts, ladder supports and lights are featured. Originally made by Bumper Files of Weston Super Mare, this model was long thought lost, but was recently discovered by Calon TV - the company who made episodes of Fireman Sam from 2003 onwards. This original early series model was given to Calon TV c2003 in order to assist with their updated version of the famous fire engine. The model is lacking several elements - notably the front bumper and the passenger side door, and several smaller elements are also now missing (wing mirrors, horns etc) but otherwise exists is production used condition.
