PINK FLOYD - DARK SIDE OF THE MOON - UK 1ST - A really lovely and well presented copy of the 1st UK 'solid blue' pressing (SHVL 804). The record is in superb Ex+ condition - only a couple of very faint, light and wispy markings are noted; these can only really be seen under much stronger and intense light. The striking solid blue triangle labels are in lovely clean order. Very first pressing with the matrix/stampers: SHVL 804 A-2 1 G & B-2 1 G. Complete with both original posters and stickers along with the original 'Patent No.' black inner. The original gatefold sleeve is in great Ex condition. A lovely example, there are just a couple of very minor creases leading 'inwards' from the spine and a little wear to the edges. No need for an upgrade!

SEX PISTOLS GOD SAVE THE QUEEN / NO FEELING ROUGH MIX RECORDING REEL 2 REEL TAPE - incredible piece of Sex Pistols history for the serious collector. The tape has been consigned by the sound engineer for Riverside Recordings who engineered the early Pistols demo sessions. The tape is housed inside a Riverside Recordings box with "Sex Pistols. 1. God Save The Queen" written on the box in black ink . The tape features two rough mixes that differ from the released versions of both God Save the Queen and No Feelings - God Save The Queen is notably slower and No Feelings differs significantly with over & under dubs. Letter of provenance to state "I was employed as a freelance recording engineer at Riverside Recordings. 78 Church Path, Chiswick, London, W4 UK to engineer a transfer of demo backing tracks onto 2" multitrack and do vocal overdubs with Dave Goodman and Malcolm McLaren producing in mid 1976 for the Sex Pistols demos. As I recall Dave Goodman recorded the backing tracks and after transferring them onto 2" multitrack we overdubbed Johnny Rotten's vocals on several tracks. I think this was the first time the band were in a proper recording studio, their reputation was so bad that Ruth Low the manager and later owner of Riverside Recordings made sure everything other than the bare essentials needed for the session was locked away. They were actually very professional throughout the session. This tape was a rough monitor mix of God Save The Queen ( No Future) and No Feelings taken at the end of the session. I was given permission by Dave and Malcolm to take a copy. They each took a copy, one was made for playing to a record company to secure a contract" Mp3 samples available on request and on viewing days.
