A 1973 Jaguar XJ6 Series II, registration number DBY 772M, chassis number 2N1905BW, engine number 7L74112S, Greensand. This well presented Jaguar was originally supplied by Henlys Ltd, Hendon, London to its first owner Mr L L Lee and was registered with Mr Lee’s personal registration number LLL 1. The Jaguar cost Mr Lee £3,843.50 which included the fitting of optional extras of electric windows £51.50, underbody protection £23.10 and front and rear mud flaps £14.86. Mr Lee was the owner of A P T Controls Ltd the manufacturer of a traffic control light system who would own the Jaguar until 1997. The car changed hands and the private plate was retained and the Jaguar was registered DBY 772M. There is an extensive history file accompanying the XJ6, with the original Henly’s bill of sale, MOT’s from September 1977 to March 2007 (which confirms the mileage at just over 110,700 miles), receipts, the original owners wallet with the Passport to Service, previous tax discs and spare keys. DBY 772M is still finished in its original colour scheme, with an olive green leather interior. V5C, MOT and tax exempt See illustration
A 1990 Bentley Turbo R, registration number *G684 YYT* BUT, chassis number SCBZB04AXLCH31673, Cobalt blue. With 400 bhp and a 0-60 time of around 6 seconds the Turbo R has more in common with a high performance sports car than a luxury saloon. Produced between 1985 and 1992 the R stood for road holding and featured revised suspension and wider types on alloy wheels. The interior remained a place of bespoke leather and walnut opulence with all the creature comforts one could ask for. This fine example has covered only 46000 miles from new with a full service history by Rolls-Royce/Bentley and marque specialists with the last service being carried out at 45313 miles. The Bentley was originally supplied by Stratstone’s, Wilmslow to its first owner who sold it through Jack Barclay Mayfair London to our vendor who has owned it ever since as his company and private car (registered twice in his name). The Bentley is currently registered with our vendor’s personal number plate but the transfer has been started with DVLA and the original registration should have been reissued by the time of the auction. The Turbo R is finished in Cobalt blue with a contrasting cream and dark blue piped leather interior which features a blue leather dashboard top roll and lambswool over rugs. Having been meticulously maintained (new tyres just fitted) this Bentley Turbo R is a cut above the norm and should not be confused with your average example. The Bentley will be offered with the service history and owner’s handbooks. V5C to follow, MOT to August 2019 See illustrations
A 1967 Daimler V8 250 saloon, registration number XNK 854F, chassis number P1K1322BW, engine number 7K1350, Bermuda blue. When Jaguar acquired Daimler they inherited the recently designed Hemi V8 by Edward Turner. Jaguar took the opportunity to create an upmarket version of their Mk II instilling the V8 into the unitary construction body shell of the Mk II making it the first Daimler not to incorporate a separate chassis. With performance and economy both better than the entry level 2.4 litre but not encroaching on the performance of the larger engined 3.4 or 3.8 variants it filled the luxury compact saloon slot nicely. This example finished in rare Bermuda blue has received quite a lot of restoration work during the ownerships of its previous two custodians prior to our vendor acquiring it last year. There are photographs on file of the Daimler receiving body repairs prior to a bare metal respray. There are further receipts for an automatic gearbox overhaul, a new petrol tank and carpets, carburettor service and a recent full service amongst others. The Daimler is now only being offered for auction due to our vendor’s ill health and will be accompanied to auction with a large history file. V5C, MOT and tax exempt See illustrations

Featuring a 900cc DOHC inline four engine, they were endowed with scintillating performance with a top speed approaching 130 mph. For 1976 the large Kawasaki saw some mild revisions which included twin front disc brakes and 26mm carburettors and was renamed Z900. From the first year of production this well presented example comes direct from long term enthusiast ownership. Displaying a believed low mileage of just under 29000 miles on the odometer this iconic 1970s superbike will be offered for sale with a history file. Few bikes have had such an impact on the motorcycle world as Kawasaki’s big Zs, and today all versions of this landmark model are highly sort after. V5C, MOT to March 2019 See illustration
