George Perry Abraham established a photographic business in Keswick in the late nineteenth century, and was joined by his sons George and Ashley. A diamond brooch, first quarter of 20th century, the openwork scroll motif set throughout with rose cut diamonds, in white claw settings, within a rectangular frame, total estimated diamond weight 0.50 carat approximately, measures 3.6cm by 1.8cmNB: one diamond deficient.The brooch is in fair condition commensurate with age, there is one stone missing. The panel has been adapted possibly from a bracelet. It fastens with a double pin. It bears no hallmark nor stamp but in our opinion would test as gold and silver. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour J/K/L, clarity SI1/SI2/I1. Gross weight 9.5 grams. CR made 07.03.22.

Some staining to the page from sellotape, and general foxing to top of pages, but otherwise in good physical condition. The novel features Christie's famous Belgian detective Hercule Poirot. Scarce signed copy of the late Christie work.

Signed to the front by Brando in black ink, and dedicated ' For Bill Whiteside, Indeed It Was (and he has circled the 'First Class' wording on the front) - Best Wishes, Marlon Brando '. Whiteside was Mr Brando's server on the flight and is named inside. Supplied with full Beckett Letter Of Authenticity. Rare item.

Gerry & The Pacemakers - Weston Super Mare - July 1963 (appearing on the bill with The Beatles) - a collection of x3 candid photographs of Gerry and Fred Marsden signing autographs outside The Royal Pier Hotel. All three personally taken by the vendor at the time. The first photograph shows Gerry Marsden signing autographs whilst grinning at the camera - 3.5" x 3.5". Signed to the reverse by Marsden in blue & black ink - first in 1963 shortly after being taken, and again in 1981 when the vendor met him once again (Marsden has dated the signatures '63' and '81' retrospectively). Also annotated to reverse by vendor at the time. The second image being a period enlargement of the first, showing a close-up view of the same, similarly dual signed to the reverse (5x6")The third photograph shows Fred Marsden signing autographs outside the hotel, and is also signed to the back in black ink and further annotated by the vendor at the time. All three photographs are offered with full copyright (buyer to arrange the correct forms) and represent a unique piece of music history. From the Sandra Woodruff (née Blaken) collection

The Beatles & The Rolling Stones - an autograph book containing various signatures of bands from the 1960s, most notably The Beatles and The Rolling Stones. The vendor - a music fanatic at the time - met The Beatles several times, notably in 1963 whilst they played Weston Super Mare. This autograph book was signed at that time, outside The Royal Pier Hotel. The Rolling Stones were obtained when they played Bath Pavillion in November of the same year. In detail, The Beatles autographs comprise:Ringo Starr - signed in blue ink to a left-hand page, dated 26-7-63 by the vendor. No autograph on reverse page.Ringo Starr - second autograph on a left-hand page, dated the same. The first autograph appears a little unclean due to a bad pen. Ringo appears to have noticed this, and then flipped to a page further along and signing in a different pen. No autograph to reverse.George Harrison - signed on a left-hand page and dedicated 'To Sandra'. The vendor has added the date (same as above) and the details of Harrison's car - a Dark Green Mk2 Jag - Reg 29 XPP.  Autograph to reverse of Gerry Marsden of Gerry & The Pacemakers (on the same bill as The Beatles).John Lennon - signed on a right-hand page (opposite Harrison) and dedicated To Sandra. The vendor has added the date and details of Lennon's vehicle - a white Thames Van, Reg No. 6834 KD. No autograph to reverse.Paul McCartney - signed to a right-hand page in blue ink, dedicated 'To Sandra'. Dated by vendor. Another autograph features to the reverse (a member of The Sundowners). The Rolling Stones autographs comprise:A double-page with pasted-in pages from another autograph book, with signatures of Brian Jones, Bill Wyman, Mick Jagger and Keith Richards. Keith and Mick to one page together, and Wyman & Watts pasted-in separately on the other page. Other autographs within the book include;The Big 3, Tommy Quickly, Kevin Kirk, Gerry & The Pacemakers (who were on the same bill with The Beatles), Dec Cluskey of The Bachelors, Del Shannon, and a handful of other identified. A unique autograph album, with a great local connection, and one of the very few examples that feature signatures from the two biggest bands of the 1960s. From the Sandra Woodruff (née Blaken) collection

Only Fools & Horses - Roger Lloyd Pack (1944-2014 - Trigger) - an autographed prop replica broom handle, a reference to the episode Heroes & Villains - which is notable for two things, the first being what is often called the 'greatest comedy moment in history' when Del & Rodney are seen running down an alley whilst dressed as Batman and Robin respectively, but secondly because of Trigger (played by Lloyd-Pack) and him being awarded a medal for services to road sweeping, which included the classic exchange between him and Sid which went: Trigger: '....This old broom's had seventeen new heads and fourteen new handles in its time' Sid. 'Well how the hell can it be the same bloody broom then!!' An iconic episode of the series, and one of Britain's best loved comedy moments. Supplied with a photograph of Pack signing.

Queen - Roger Taylor (Drummer) - a non-matching pair of stage-used drumsticks from a late 1970s concert (unknown). The first drum stick being a personalised ' Roger Taylor - Premier CC ' with his name printed in red, the other a standard Premier ' C ' size drumstick. Both well played with, but complete.  Provenance: originally obtained by the vendor when he wrote to Taylor via the Queen fan club c1978/79 and asked for a pair of sticks, as the vendor had a desire to become a drummer. These were what were returned to him shortly after.

James Bond Dr. No (1962) British Quad film poster for the first James Bond film, illustration by Mitchell Hooks, starring Sean Connery as 007, folded, 30 x 40 inches. Condition Report: Generally in very good condition for age, some damage to corners and edges. Has been strengthened in corners with small amount of what appears to be archival tape. White '007' snipe has been removed on lower border. Faint pen title on reverse. A few grubby marks, pin holes and splits at cross folds. Extra fold line, colours remain strong and bright with no signs of fading.

James Bond Dr. No (1962) Three Le Cercle casino plaques as similar to that seen in Terence Young's spy film Dr. No. MI6 agent 007 (Sean Connery) first uttered his name-"Bond, James Bond"-while playing baccarat chemin-de-fer against Sylvia Trench (Eunice Gayson) at the Le Cercle casino inside London's Les Ambassadeurs club. Le Cercle casino loaned its house plaques to EON Productions for the film that was shot at a Ken Adam designed set at Pinewood Studios. This lot consists of three plaques-one apiece in £1 (number 1477), £10 (0195) and £50 (0130) pound denominations-manufactured of glossy plastic composites engraved "Le Cercle" with stamped serial numbers. Provenance: These plaques came from the estate of the Mills' Family. John Mills was the owner of Le Cercle.

James Bond Dr. No (1962) Nine Le Cercle gaming plaques / chips from Terence Young's Dr. No, the first entry in the James Bond series. Gaming plaques and chips were used at Le Cercle casino, where Agent 007 (Sean Connery) memorably introduced himself with the immortal line, 'Bond, James Bond.' The production used original plaques loaned by Le Cercle casino at Les Ambassadeurs Club. The lot includes a £500, £100, £50, £10 and £5. The plaques are made of plastic and have green, yellow, peach and blue pearlescent finishes. One side features "Le Cercle", and a unicorn decoration, and are all individually stamped', 'Les Ambassadeurs Club' and a black picture of the club itself. The production used chips loaned by Le Cercle casino at Les Ambassadeurs Club. This set features £1 x2, 10 and 5 chips. All are made of plastic and feature pearlescent red, yellow and peach finishes. The chips are stamped with serial numbers (9 in total).
